Chapter 12- What about us pt.2

Renesmee P.O.V

The bright sun shone in my room. The cool breeze coming in my room. It felt nice. It was going to be a beautiful day.

"What the hell was that for?!" I heard Jake's voice.

What was happening to him?! I was about to get up and race to his room.

Wait.. I rushed to the mirror. I looked weird. My hair all over my head..

I rushed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and took a warm shower.

I wrapped my towel around my body and went to dry my hair. The blow dryer is so noisy.

Finally I finished. I combed though my hair. It was still a bit straight. I bet by tomorrow the curls would come back.

I put it in a high pony. I threw on a red pullover sweater and some yoga pants.

Before I could even leave the room, mom came in.

"Hey, Nessie", she came and hugged me.

"Hi mom. What's up", I asked.

"There's a important family meeting in grandpa's office now", she informed me.

"Oh, really. What's it about. Is it bad?", I wondered.

"I don't know sweetie. If I knew I would tell you", she sighed.

"Alright. But mom, I'm hungry".

"You and Jake will eat after. It won't be long. Trust me", she said.

My eyes lit up. Jake was here?!

"Jake's still here? He stayed the night?!", I was surprised and glad.

"Yes, he's getting ready in the guest room. Let's go wait in the office for him".

I nodded and took her hand. We made our way up to the third floor.

"Good morning, Renesmee", dad came and greeted me.

I hugged him. "Morning dad".

Everyone else greeted me. There was a bit of an awkward silence then my stomach growled.

"Sorry. I'm kinda hungry", I said.

"It's okay. You'll eat real soon", grandma Esme told me.

I heard heavy footsteps. I turned around in my seat.

"Jake!", I slightly screamed and ran to him. I had no control over my body. I waited for him for so long.

"Hey ness, how are you", he hugged me. I hugged him back. My boyfriend. That would take some getting used to. I can't believe it's still real.

"Ehem", Uncle Emmett suddenly coughed. I heard dad slightly growl. I blushed and broke free of our hug.

Jake took his seat beside me.

"Well. I guess it's time to begin", Grandpa Carlisle started.

"We've been here for a while now. We can't let Renesmee start school at Forks High, and use the last name Cullen, that would bring too much attention to us. People would start to ask questions and see that she resembles to Bella and Edward. So we will be moving", he continued.

Jake looked at me then. A tear suddenly fell out of my eye.

"What about me and Jake?! He lives here, his pack is here!", I burst out.

"Renesmee. Calm down", Jake whispered. He took my hand in his.

I felt a bit better all of a sudden.

"Thank you Jasper", I whispered quietly to him. He just nodded.

"Mom, what's gonna happen with Jake and I. We'll be separated", I looked at her.

"Well--", she looked over to my dad. He seemed normal, a little smile on his face.

What was wrong with him?! We are talking about mine and Jacob's relationship and he's smiling..like he's glad Jacob is leaving..

"It's not why I'm smiling Renesmee. Why doesn't Jacob tell you himself",

He suggested.

I was so confused. I looked over to Jake. I stared in his brown eyes. I could stare at them all day..

From the corner of my eye I could see my dad shift uncomfortably in his seat.

"Oh, sorry dad", I thought. I'm still not used to having a mind reader as a dad.

I turned my attention back to Jake.

"What is it?", I asked quietly. He was about to start but hesitated.

Every second I had to wait, I was getting more impatient and angry. I bet everyone knew already, except mom, Grandma, Grandpa.. Etc.

Well basically the only ones who could possibly know would be Dad and Aunt Alice since Alice could see what was coming next and dad could read Jake's mind..

A huge wave of calm went over me. I felt so much better. I turned to silently thank Uncle Jasper once again. He just nodded in return.

Jake then turned to face me. "Ness".

"I will go with you", he started.

I blinked a numerous number of times.

"W-w-what do you mean?" I asked still not completely grasping this information he was feeding me.

"I will move with you. We will still be together, Renesmee", he continued.

"Y-you're leaving the pack?", I gulped. He was leaving them to be with me.

"Yes and no. They don't always need me. You see how I'm always over here with you instead of them already. It will be just like that. Only when they need me for something really important, then I will go to them", he explained.

It did make sense but I still couldn't believe he was doing this.

I hugged him tight for a while. "I love you, Jake. So much", I told him quietly.

"I love you too, Ness", he replied and kissed my hand.

"Alright! Can we now go back to the meeting?", Aunt Rosalie half hissed.

"As I was saying, we will be moving to a small town named Mystic Falls. It's just like forks, with the slight rain and clouds, but it just has a bit more sun", Grandpa Carlisle spoke again.

"The house is already there. It's a bit larger than this one. It will be missed dearly.." Grandpa finished.

"All we need to do is just move all the necessary things, such as clothes, personal items and more", Grandma Esme added.

Everything sounded good. "When are we moving?" I wondered.

"Saturday. First thing in the morning. We need to get settled before the Monday. That's when you all start school", Carlisle informed us.

School! Finally. I was so excited but also nervous. Would people like me? Would I fit in? How would it be? All these questions kept popping into my mind. My heart was racing.

"You will be fine Renesmee. We will all be there with you. Don't worry. You'll have a great time", dad told me and smiled.

I calmed down. I hoped so. The next second my stomach growled.

"I guess it's time for me start on that breakfast now", Esme said and lead Jake and I to the kitchen.
