Chapter 21- It just got real

Jacob P.O.V

I couldn't stop thinking about what happened as I sat in the car on my way home with my new imprint. Cassidy. I had such strong feelings for her. I didn't want to leave her side but I had to explain to Renesmee. I wonder what she was going to do.

"What are you thinking about?", Cass rubbed my leg as she drove toward my house. I had explained to her what happened. I just told her that I had strong feelings for her. She couldn't know about my kind. She was only a human.

"Nothing. I just don't know what to say to Renesmee. It's gonna be hard on her Cass", I sighed loudly. She heard and held my hand. "It's okay Jake. Everything will work out fine. I love you", she parked right infront of the house and kissed my check. That wasn't enough for me. I turned my head and kissed her lips. It felt so right but a little wrong since I was still Renesmee's boyfriend. My mind told me no, but my body did a whole different thing. I held on to her face and deepend the kiss. I wanted so badly to continue but I had to tell Renesmee now.

"Babe, I need to go okay. I'll call you", I hugged her tight before existing the car. She waved good-bye and drove off into the dark night.

Now, I had to do it.

I wandered into Renesmee's room. She was curled up in a ball on her bed. She looked so sad. Was she crying? This just got a whole lot worse for me.







Renesmee P.O.V

I was crying hard. I wanted to kill Cassidy. I jumped when I heard Jacob's voice behind me. "Ness, why are you crying", he wondered and came to me.

I didn't want to tell him, so I made up a lie.

"I stubbed my toe, it hurts a lot", I pretended to rub my toe and wiped my tears.

"Okay, are you sure. You seemed really upset and you wanted to talk to me?", he reminded me. I couldn't lie anymore.

"Cassidy is trying to steal you from me. She hates me and wants you. I can't believe you went with her every day after school last week", I started and stared him right in the eye.

"I told you. I was doing homework. We are in drama class together. There are many assignments Renesmee. Cassidy doesn't hate you. Why would you think that?", he stood up towering over me. Why wouldn't he believe me.

"Jake it's true. My friend Samantha told me how she was planning on taking you", I stood also. We were face to face looking angry at one another.

"Renesmee it's not true and I have something to tell you okay. So get that outta your head", he told me quickly. Jake never talked to me like that.

"Why are you acting like this. You always believe me and now you're snapping at me?", I cried.

"Because Renesmee. I'm frustrated. I imprinted on Cassidy tonight!", he shouted at me. My heart shattered into a million pieces as he said that.

He imprinted. No. Jacob imprinted on me. How could he do this? We were meant to be together. I crumpled to the ground.

"Renesmee! Renesmee!", he yelled trying to shake me.

"Don't touch me! I hate you. How could you do this to me!", I cried more. The tears were flowing out fast. My face felt heated and red.

"You know I have no contr--", I cut him off short. I was so upset and needed him to go away from me.

"Get out Jacob. Go", I tried saying.

"Ness--", he shook his head no. "Renesmee".

"I said get out Jacob! I never want to see you again. Leave! Pack your stuff and leave the house. Go now!" I shoved him out my room and slammed the door in his face before he could say another word.

I heard voices in the hall now. "Get out of this house now, dog. You're not welcome here anymore. Go!", I heard my dad shout. I never heard him use that tone before.

"Edward! What's going on?!"

"Not now Bella. Check on Renesmee please", he replied quick.

I heard another door slam shut.

I cried my eyes out. My life was over. Jacob is gone. He left me for her! I hated him. I struggled to get on my bed. My head hit the pillow and more tears came. It's like somebody punched me in my stomach repeatedly and my heart has been ripped through my chest. How was I going to cope.

"Renesmee, can I come in", I heard my mother knock and ask.

"YYYes", I stuttered and sniffled.

"Nessie! Oh, honey what happened", my mom came on my bed and rubbed my back.

"JJacob iiimprinted. He left me ffor hher", I tried answering her question.

"It's okay baby girl. It's okay", she tried comforting me. It didn't work. It wasn't going to be okay. My Jacob was going to be Cassidy's Jacob. I cried harder and eventually fell asleep.

The next morning was even worse. The bright sun shone into my eyes, waking me up from the worst dream ever. I tried to think yesterday didn't happen, but it did. I sighed.

I went on with my usual morning routine. Brushed my teeth, took a long hot shower. That made me feel a tiny bit better. I dressed in grey baggy sweatpants, a white tank top and a yellow sweater. I didn't care how I looked. I tied my hair up in a big bun on my head.

Walking lazily down the stairs I smelt good food.

"Morning Ness. How are you feeling? I made your favourite. Cinnamon rolls", Grandma Esme tried to make me feel better. She gave me a tight hug.

"I'm okay. I'll be in my room", I grabbed two rolls and hurried back to my room.

I decided to have a Vampire Diaries Maraton. I started from season one...

It was about 3pm when I heard my parents come in my room.

"Renesmee, how are you feeling", dad spoke first. To be honest, I was tired of this question. I felt just like how Elena did. Her parents had died and everyone was asking her the same question. It was annoying. But just like her, I lied about my feelings. "I'm fine, thanks".

"We think you should invite over some of your friends to make you feel better. You've been up here all day in the room, watching your show. You need to be cheered up. Jacob is a big dummy for hurting you. Don't make him win Nessie. Show him and prove to yourself you can do better without him", my mom explained to me.

She was a bit right. What was mopping around going to do for me? It was just going to let me feel worse and feel like without Jacob, I have nothing. This will only make Cassidy happy. No, I was going to prove to myself and them that I didn't need them in my life, I was going to move on.

"Thank you mom. I'll call them over now." I hugged both my parents

"Ding Dong", the doorbell rung. I didn't feel like moving still, so I stayed in my room. I was still feeling depressed. "Renesmee! Your friends are here!", I heard my mom call me.

"You guys can go on up", I heard her tell them. I still didn't move.

"Renesmee?", I heard Crystal call me and approached me.

"Hey", my voice sounded off.

"Renesmee I'm so sorry", she told me and hugged me.

"We brought ice cream!", Samantha cheered. I smiled.

Kyle and Stevan walked in after. "Hey, sorry about what happened", Kyle said and sat beside me. I went to hug him.

I loved my friends so much.

We all went to the living room to watch movies and eat ice cream. At the end of the day I was feeling a lot better.

I went to clean up after they all left but Alice bet me to it. "No, no, no missy. Relax, I'll clean up", with that said the little pixie went to work. In a blink of an eye the mess was gone. 'Gotta love vampires', I thought.

I went to my dresser to brush out my hair. Pictures of Jacob and I were all over the place. On my walls, dresser, photo album. I took the picture from the dresser and ripped it into shreds. The depressing feeling came back, but soon vanished after I cleared out my room of pictures of us.
