Chapter 25- Meeting the Cullens

A little refresher

Renesmee went over to Kyle's house just to hang out with her boyfriend. Katie, Kyle's twin sister, appeared and threated Renesmee and told her not to harm Kyle. She actually liked Renesmee and thought she was better than all of Kyle's past girlfriends. Kyle came back into the room, spotted Katie and told her to leave at once. Katie didn't listen and her and Kyle got into a fight, exposing their vampire abilities in front of Renesmee. Kyle and Katie's mother appeares and tells Katie to leave them and Katie quickly leaves them both, obviously quick to obey her mother's orders. Renesmee is worried and confused. Her last thought to Kyle when he checked if she was alright, was 'Kyle...Are you and your family, vampires?".

Kyle P.O.V

"Renesmee..", I trailed off. I couldn't believe this. How did Renesmee guess this? And how does she know about vampires? This is bad, very very bad.

"Kyle, please. Are you and your family vampires? Don't lie to me because I saw all of what just happened. That fight with you and Katie.. The speed..The--", I cut her off. I walked to sit on the couch facing her.

I took in a shaky breath. "Yes, Renesmee. We are vampires. Please don't be afraid okay. I would never hurt you, ever..", I confessed and held her hand. I really hoped she would understand and not be afraid.

"I understand Kyle. Don't worry.", she gave a reassuring smile and came to hug me.

"How did you know about vampires Renesmee?", I spoke quietly and serious.

She hesitated. Could she not tell me?

"Kyle, because...My family are vampires too..I'm a hybrid, half vampire, half human", she looked down at her feet.

I couldn't believe this. Renesmee and I are more similar to each other than I thought.

All of a sudden there were footsteps coming from the stairs. "Renesmee, is this true?", my mother appeared right before us.

"Yes, I couldn't tell anyone because, it would be dangerous", she explained.

"We need to meet with your family as soon as possible", my mom told her. "How about now?", she finished.

"Uh, sure. Let's go", she looked at me and smiled. Renesmee and I were perfect for each other.

Renesmee P.O.V

I couldn't believe any of this. I just found out my boyfriend and family are vampires. What would happen now? I knew everything would be okay. It had to be.

As soon as I fished my keys out of my pocket, the door opened.

"Mom, dad, there's something you need to know..", I started as they stared behind me. Kyle's mom, dad, and sister stood behind Kyle and I.

"We know Renesmee. Alice had a vision. Come in, please", dad made room for us all.

"Hi, I'm Julie, this is my husband Ian and these are our children, Kyle and Katie", Julie introduced herself and family to my parents. His parents looked around my parents age, like 19-at least 21 area.

"Edward, this is my wife Bella".

Whoosh. Carlisle, Esme, Alice, Jasper, Rose and Emmett all gathered around us.

"Welcome, I'm Carlisle, my wife Esme and these are Alice, her husband Jasper, Rosalie and her husband Emmett. I have turned them many many years ago and picture them as my own children, including Edward and Bella."

We all soon made our way into our fairly large living room. Carlisle and my dad explained our whole story to Julie and Ian. The rest of us just listened.

I found out Kyle too, was a hybrid, and his sister Katie. They were half human and half vampire. Their parents had the same experience as mine did.

My mom seemed glad she had a new friend to share how she felt, she had someone to talk to about how she felt during everything that happened.

Katie and Rose found something in common as well. Katie wanted to be more normal and it was hard for her to make friends here with the humans. That's one of the main reasons why she was so bitter and a little rude.

"Alice has the ability to see the future. Edward can read minds, Jasper can sense your emotions, Bella is a shield, which enables her to keep her thoughts hidden and Renesmee can allow you to hear and see what she is thinking, by the touch of her palm to your skin", Carlisle said as we were now going over abilities.

"That's cool. I can transport and my brother here is a tracker. The volturi want us and that's why we've been keeping a low profile, moving from place to place", Katie spoke for once. I could see she was feeling more comfortable speaking with her own kind.

"We've been having problems with the volturi also in the past, they thought Renesmee was a danger because they've never seen anything like her before", dad explained.

Julie and her family soon left, including Kyle. "Call me okay", he said as he hugged me.

"Will do", I smiled and hugged him back.

"This is so cool. Another family of vampires. New friends!", Alice jumped up. She was estatic.

"I know Alice. I'm glad we all get along", I said laying on the couch.

Ring, ring ring...

The house phone blared loud.

"I'll get it", I said to nobody and wandered into the kitchen.

"Hello?", I spoke.

"Ness? It's grandma Renee. Grandpa Charlie and I were talking and we're going to come down there for Christmas! I know it's a bit of a late warning but we literally talked just two minutes ago and I--", I had to stop her now or she'd never finish her story.

"Alright, I'll tell mom and dad. They'll be happy to see you along with the rest of the family". This was shocking news. I couldn't see them! I looked about 17 right now. Wouldn't they question my body growth?

"Great! See you all in 3 days. Love you!", she hung up, leaving me hearing the endless beep, beep, beep on the phone.

Great just great. How was I suppose to hide my body...

"Mommy! Daddy! We have a problem!", I hurried to the stairs.

"What is it Renesmee?", mom rushed down with dad trailing behind her.

"Grandma Renee and Charlie are coming for Christmas.." They both looked at each other with worried expressions.
