Renesmee P.O.V

Jake and I danced together. It felt like forever. His warm strong hands on my waist, my hands on his shoulders. The height difference wasn't that bad, my heels helped me get to reach his chin.

After the song was over, we stood for a while. I could stay here all night.. Forever.

"Wanna go somewhere?" Jake asked, making me lose my train of thought.

I quickly looked around. Everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. Dad was nowhere in sight.. A good sign.

"Sure", I replied after a tenth of a second.

Jake took me hand in his and off we went.

We ended up in our backyard. The gazebo was well lit, shining bright in the night. We say down on the cream colored bench beside it.

"How do you like your birthday so far?" He asked, still holding my hand.

I looked into his lovely brown eyes. He was so unbelievably cute. My Jacob. "It's great! Everything is going well", I smiled. He copied me.

He suddenly looked nervous.

"Jake? What is it?" I wondered.

He took a deep breathe and held both of my hands tight. I stared at him. What was making him act like this?

"Renesmee. I love you. I always did and I always will. You're the most beautiful person I have ever met. You're smart, gorgeous, funny, sweet.. And I love all those things about you. Ever since the imprint, I could never stop thinking about you. I love you so much and i will protect you no matter what", he burst out.

A tear slide down my face. This was the most beautiful thing anyone has ever said to me.

"Renesmee?" He asked. He wiped my tear away with his thumb.

"Yes jake" I looked back at him.

"Will you do the me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?" He said softly.

"Yes. Yes I will be your girlfriend Jacob. I love you." I hugged him tight.

We pulled back and looked at each other once again. We were both smiling wide. I was officially Jake's.. And he was officially mine. I was happy. Ecstatic.

The next thing took me by surprise.. He leaned in and kissed me. His lips met mine and we shared a moment.

He pulled away a bit too fast. I liked kissing Jake. He was my very first kiss. On my birthday!

"I love you Nessie", he spoke quietly.

"I love you too, Jake", I told him. We held hands once again and turned to look at the beautiful dark sky above us. It was filled with stars. I rested my head on his shoulder, he then rested his head on mine. It was perfect.

"I don't want to ruin this moment, but it's better I do than Edward. It's also time for presents now!" Alice popped out of nowhere, in front of us. I sighed.

"Why now Alice?!" I told her frustrated.

"Because I say! And it's getting late. Humans need to sleep soon." She stated.

She had a point. As Jake and I stood to get up she disappeared into the darkness.

"Come on Ness, present time", Jake smiled at me. I retuned the smile and kissed him on the cheek.

I could get use to this.
