Percy POV

~~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~
When I first saw Annabeth standing in the doorway I almost let my jaw drop, but I kept a straight face. She was gorgeous, she had long blonde curls that rested on her shoulders, intimidating gray eyes that I could stare into forever, and a gentle, sweet voice. Although I could tell she could kill if she wanted to. When I first found out that we were getting new neighbors, I thought that an old shriveled librarian was moving in, due to all the boxes of books that were
being carried in. But I was truly surprised when I saw a girl my age
answer the door.
~~~~~~End Of Flashback~~~~~~
Annabeth took a few deep breaths, closed her eyes. She jumped off the balcony and I caught her. I didn't want to put her down she was so beautiful, but I knew I had to. She opened her eyes and I set her on the ground.
"I told you, you'd be safe" I said with a smirk.
"So what is this crazy plan of yours?" Asked Annabeth.
"You'll just have to wait and see" I replied. She gave me a really that's so cliché look. And I smiled. She followed me over to my motorcycle, and Annabeth stopped in her tracks. She stared wide eyed at my bike in fright. I put on my helmet, rolled my eyes and held out my hand.
"Do you trust me?" I asked. Annabeth slowly started reaching out for my hand but then pulled it away. She closed her eyes and took my hand knowing there's no going back now. She swung her leg over the side of the bike, and put on the other helmet. She rapped her arms around my waist, as I started the engine. I looked back at her and winked. Annabeth rolled her eyes. And we took off. I was taking her to my favorite spot. Riding during the the night is my favorites, the air is crisp and cold, as it runs through your hair, and even though it's the middle of the night there are so many lights and cars moving down in the city. Annabeth was taking in the scenery, as we zipped passed everything. We finally arrived at out destination, when we stopped at a small mountain over looking the whole city. When you reach the top of the mountain there is a small bench just big enough for two people to fit.
"This is amazing" said Annabeth looking at the view.
"Isn't it just breathtaking?" I asked. She nodded her head, and sat down on the bench. I sat down with her, but the b much was so small we were touching.
"So tell me about yourself Annabeth. I hardly know anything about you" I said turning to look at her.
"I could say the same thing about you" she said poking me.
"Okay how about you share one thing about yourself, and I share one thing, and then you share one thing, and so on and so forth." I suggested. Annabeth nodded.
"You go first" she said.
"Well my full name is Percy Jackson"
"Mine is Annabeth Chase" she said.
"My favorite color is blue" I said.
"Umm... I have two step brothers" commented Annabeth.
"I have a weird obsession with blue food" I said. Annabeth looked at me questioningly, but then waved it off.
"I moved here from, San Fransisco" said Annabeth.
"I'm ADHD and dyslexic" I said. She looked at me as if she was studying my face.
"I'm ADHD and dyslexic too" said Annabeth softly. I smiled at her gently and she put her head on my shoulder. I put my arm around her and she noticed something on the inside of my wrist. She studied it for a moment and then realized it was my tattoo.
"You have a tattoo" she said.
"Yeah I got it last year" I replied. She traced it with her finger.
"What is it?" She asked.
"It's a trident" I said. "I've always had a fascinating with the sea"
"And how could you leave this out, when we were sharing facts" said Annabeth falsely insulted. We laughed, and for the rest of the time we enjoyed each other's company. Some time later, I checked my watch and it read 2:36.
"We should get home" I said. Annabeth pouted and I smiled knowing that she was actually enjoying being here.
"You're right" said Annabeth sitting up from the bench. She started headed towards the path that led you down the mountain until I stopped her.
"Hey Annabeth" I said, she turned her head and I pulled her close, I stared into her gray eyes that sparkled as the moon reflected off of them. She took my hand and started running down the mountain. It took me by surprise, and together we ran down the mountain and back to my bike. We hopped on, and sped back to our street. When we got back to our houses I parked my motorcycle, back where it first was. We took of our helmets and rested them on the handlebars.
"Percy?" Asked Annabeth. I turned, and was immediately greeted by her grabbing the neck line of my shirt, and pulling me into a kiss. We stood there for a long time before she relished my shirt. She winked, walked over to the tree beside her house, climbed it and leaped from a branch onto her balcony. And just like that she disappeared into her bedroom. Me on the other hand was left standing stupidly alone in the middle of the night, trying to remember my name.
