"What? Why? What's so special about me that I get a choice?" Normally I wouldn't complain about something like this but I just learned the hard way that supernatural beings singling you out: not a good thing. Tessa smiled at me in a motherly way.

"Because. It wasn't supposed to be your time." She said, and she lifted her hand and gestured at our surroundings as she continued. "All of this; it wasn't supposed to happen. But it did, because some one is trying to mess with your fate." She took one of my hands in hers.

"The demon." I clarified.

"Your demon." She agreed and I frowned. I really didn't links the sound of that. My demon. It sounded wrong. Incredibly wrong. But before I could protest, something caught my attention. My dad had closed his eyes and had his hands clasped in front of him. He was murmuring something that I couldn't make out. Tessa saw what I was looking at and explained.

"He's praying. Trying to call Castiel. But it won't work. He won't come. Just like the demon your uncle is trying to summon won't come. It won't work this time." I gave her an incredulous look.

"What?" I asked, hoping I had misunderstood.

"Winchesters are known for cheating death, and every time there was some angel or demon behind their living. It won't work this time. This a choice only you can make. Only you can choose to stay and live or to move on." She stood up as she finished explaining it to me. "You have until sunset to make your decision." She instructed before I blinked and she was gone. So, I had until sunset to make an impossible decision. Great. Fan-freaking-tastic.
