"Hey. What's your sister up to?" Dean asked as he came up behind where his son was sitting on the couch.
"She said something about working in her room. I don't really know." Ian shrugged and Dean shook his head slightly.
"I can hear her music from here." Sam laughed and Dean realized he was right. He could hear faint music coming from the direction of the bedrooms.
"Is it just me, or is her music really quiet?" He asked and the others thought for a moment before agreeing with him.
"Yeah. And she wasn't singing along like she usually does." Ian said thoughtfully and a shiver went down Dean's spine.
"Something is not right." He muttered before walking back toward the bedrooms. (Reference, anyone?) He walked up to Jess's door and knocked briskly on it.
"Jess? Jess, its Dad." He said. There was no change in the music volume or any verbal response. "Jess? Hey, what's going on in there?" Again, no response. "Jess, if you won't let me in, I'll let myself in." He warned and again there was so response. "Screw it." He said before proceeding to pick the lock on his daughter's bedroom door. A quick glance around the room told him that she wasn't in there. He swore under his breath before walking out.
"Dean?" Sam questioned as they both came into the library.
"She's not in her room." Dean said to his brother and then he began to shout. "Jess, this is not funny. Come on out." He waited to hear her laughing as she came out from her hiding place. But she didn't. A sense of panic began to grow in Dean as Jess didn't appear and he quickly instructed Sam and Ian to search the bunker. After 20-30 minutes Sam called out from Jess's room.
"Dean! I found something! And its not good."
