The Ghostgirl Chapter 6

As Josh,Teresa,and Amy were wandering through the forest,they looked around,looking for clues.Josh tripped on a bump in the dirt.Teresa and Amy dug out a treasure chest.Teresa shaped her hand into a key and unlocked the chest.There lied inside a letter to Teresa and Amy.As Teresa picked up the letter,she read aloud:

    Dear my two daughters,

 If you two are reading this,then that means that I have passed on.During that war outside our house,your father went insane and killed us all.I hope that didn't hurt you two that bad.Anyway,after you read this letter,there is supposed to be a gift for Amy inside that chest you found the letter in as well.The gift is supposed to be for her birthday,but you know,we all died.I hope I'll get to see you girls again in the afterlife.I wish you the best of luck.

Amy's face filled with tears.She looked at the gift her mother left her.It was a beautiful amulet with a ruby in the middle.It was a family heirloom to them.She gripped it tightly and tears of sadness dripped down her cheeks.Teresa hugged her dear sister and said,"Happy Birthday."Amy hugged Teresa back and smiled.
