Chapter 5

Darcy's pov...

I turned abruptly when the familiar voice reached my ears. "Sebastian Michaelis." I greeted coldly.

"You know this man?" I heard my master ask.

"He is no man, he is a demon butler that works for Ciel Phantomhive, a formidable enemy though if you order me I can kill him." I explained.

"What do you want?" I demanded coldly.

He took a step closer to us. "My young lord received orders from the queen to investigate a series of murders, and I believe I have found the culprits." He chuckled.

"The queen." Alpha spat from behind me.

"Alpha, control your anger." I said not looking at her.

"Alpha? what an odd thing to call your master." Sebastian said.

"I am part wolf it is in my blood to call my master Alpha." I responded quickly.

"I see." He replied and looked over at Ember. "So the queen ordered your parents to be killed after your parents brutally  murdered one of her servants that got too close. I'm going to have to ask you to come with me." Sebastian seemed to hiss in his calm voice.

I heard Ember gasp in anger and a small growl sounded from her. "Alpha I can take care o-" I started before she cut me off.

"No, let's go with him, he interests me." She said.

"Very well, where exactly are we going?" I asked reluctantly.

"To my masters mansion."He said and turned to walk out of the ally.

I followed him, putting myself in between him and my Alpha in case he got any wise ideas. He opened a chariot to reveal Ciel Phantomhive waiting for us. "Right this way." He said allowing us to climb into it.

I sat on the opposite side of Ciel, my Alpha beside me. "What do you want." My Alpha asked.

Sebastian climbed in and sat beside Ciel as the chariot began moving. "I want to know why you are murdering seemingly innocent people." He replied.

"You know as well as I that those we kill those who deserve to die." My Alpha replied.

"It isn't your call who deserves death." Ciel retorted without blinking his eye that wasn't covered with an eye patch.

"Maybe not but I'm using my best judgement and that's better than most." She replied with a shrug.

"We have been watching for a while now and noticed that you give whatever you steal to the poor that need it." He said.

"Of course, those rich bastards don't even bat an eye when they see people suffer. They are too caught up in eating expensive food to care about those who can't even afford a crumb." She replied, her an anger growing stronger.

Ciel looked at her with a thoughtful eye before responding. "You seem to understand all too well."He remarked.

"I know exactly what they are going through I spent years on the street as a homeless child, no one bothered to help me but the day I met Darcy it all changed for the better,as I decided to give them what I never had, hope." She replied.

I smiled that was the Alpha that I envied. Ciel looked surprised at this and was silent for a long stretch of time. "I won't turn you in to the queen, I will tell her exactly as you told me, but to keep you from murdering you will join me in my mansion and help on missions for the Queen."He replied.

I turned and looked over at Alpha, she was silent and I knew she was thinking if we should kill hem or stay with them. "Very well." She replied.

A small smile spread across Ciel face. Just what is he up to? I thought.
