Ember's POV

I knew Darcy was lying, but she told me she could handle it and I trusted her. I knew that whatever had been in my room had shaken her up, I could see it in her eyes. My eyes where shut tight and I could faintly hear the sound of fabric shifting, Darcy was still here.

"Go to sleep Darcy." I told her, but it was not an order, if she denied I would force her to tell me the reason on why she is so set on watching me sleep.

"Alpha, I would rather stay here and keep an eye on you." She said and I knew she was not going anywhere any time soon.

I sighed and sat up from in my bed, turning my head over to look at her dark figure next to the window. "Well if you are not going to leave, then I order you to tell me what was watching me earlier. And the truth this time."

She sighed and lazily glanced at me. "It was Claude, another demon of whom I met in the past many decades ago. I don't know why but I had suspected something was wrong with you and when I got her he was looming over your sleeping self." She explained.

I nodded. "Well if that is all, then I will be going to sleep. Go back to your room, if he was here once and you caught him I doubt he will make a move tonight." Darcy looked torn and opened her mouth to say something before I interrupted her. "If anything happens I will call you, now go."

Darcy sighed, and then swiftly walked out of the room, I smiled slightly at her protective nature towards me. I laid down in my bed once more, closing my eyes and drifting off into a peaceful sleep.

3rd Person POV

The window cracked open slightly, letting a cool breeze flow into the room and blow the curtains every so slightly with a flutter. A creature of eight legs and a hairy body slipped through the cracked window seal, making soft clicks of its legs as it went. It turned towards the window and reached up it's two front legs, gripping the window seal it pushed it down with strength that did not belong to any normal spider.

Quickly the little insect scurried to the far Conner of the dark room, the only source of light being the full moon the rested in the sky on the cold night. The young girl in the bed stirred, her eyebrows furrowed together and curled herself into a ball under the lush covers of the large bed. One would conclude she was having a nightmare. The spider sat on the wall, it's many eyes watching as she tossed and turned until sunrise.

Ember's POV

"Rise and shine!" Darcy's voice invaded my ears. I grumbled a mix of sounds that not even I could understand and rolled over, shoving my face into the soft silk pillow. Suddenly the warmth I had been wrapped up in earlier had left me and I curled my self into a ball and lifted my head up to glare at Darcy. As I did so Darcy's nimble fingers pulled back the curtains and the harsh light hit my eyes. I groaned, and smooshed my face into the soft cloud of fabric once more.

When I thought she had finally left I relaxed my tense posture and uncurled myself from a ball. I started to fall asleep once more when I felt cold hands on my ankles. My eyes widened as my head shot up, the fabric of the sheets began to move under me and I felt myself being pulled back. I clawed at the sheets but it did no good, Darcy continued to pull me back, with me screaming in protest until I was gripping onto the foot board for dear life. I yelled and screamed at her to left go but she continued on.

"Darcy, I demand you let me go this instant!" I yelled. Bad idea. She let go of my ankles not a second later and my mind had been distracted so my grip on the bed had loosened. My hands slipped away from the bed and I fell the the hard wood floor with an 'oof'.

I turned my head to glare up at Darcy who stood above me smirking like she had just won one sick game, which I guess she did. The door busted opened and both Darcy and I looked over to see Ciel in the doorway panting with wide eyes while Sebastian stood next to him smirking.

"We, heard, screaming..." Ciel said between breath's while Sebastian continued to stand smirking at me. I swear him and Darcy are like soul mates. Demon minds think alike I guess.

I groaned while lifting up my head and slamming it down onto the floor in embarrassment and anger. Darcy snickered from above me at my actions.

'It's going to be a long day...' I thought.
