Book 2 Chapter 11

My eyes locked with Ciel as I continued to stare at him. He called in Sebastian and Darcy and only then did I look away.

My mind was foggy, and I couldn't get my body to work properly, I felt numb. I wanted to say something, anything, I wanted to scream and cry in happiness now that I had been saved but I could do none of that. all I could manage was a blank stare and the slight mechanical movements of my body.

I faintly hear Sebastian say something about me becoming stronger, and more about how I was cured. My mind wouldn't focus on the conversation until Ciel began to speak and I was all ears.

"But...She said my name." Ciel said softly.

Sebastian look slightly surprised before laughing, making Ciel annoyed.

I listened in more on the conversation and learned I was in a trance like state and wouldn't be able to talk or do much at all for a few hours. I inwardly groaned and wanted nothing more than to hug Ciel and Darcy. Maybe Sebastian.

Time Skip...

Twitch. Twitch Twitch. My eyes snapped open once again and I shot up from my bed. Ciel's head snapped up from its place on his arm which were resting on my bed to look at me in surprise.

"You really need to stop doing that... " He muttered and rested his head back down on his arms.

For the past few hours I had been taking naps, which were always ended by me shooting up from the covers, looking over at Ciel and staring around for a while before my body laid itself back down and repeated the process. This time, I felt different, my mind was alert, more alert than it had ever been even when I wasn't poised.

Ciel glanced up at me once more, and furrowed his eyebrows to see that I had not laid down again.

"Ember?" He asked softly with worry in his voice.

My eyes slowly moved over to him and pools of tears swelled up in my eyes. Ciel jumped up and looked at me, not really sure what to do. 

"Ciel..." My voice was soft and broken and it made Ciel freeze. "Ciel." I repeated. I wasn't sure why I said it again but I felt like I needed something from him, though I was not sure what it was.

"Ember?" He asked once more, confusion swimming in those blue orbs I could get lost in. "Can you hear me, can you move?"

I managed a nod, and he smiled brightly. Suddenly I was engulfed in warmth and realized Ciel's had hugged me. His arms were locked tight around my waist and I felt dampness on my shoulder. Was he crying?

Ciel glanced up and indeed there where small clear streams of water falling from his eyes. I became worried and Ciel must have noticed.

"I'm fine, I'm just so happy you are okay." He explained and I gave a soft smile.

I can't really tell if it was a spur of the moment feeling, but slowly I reached up my hands and cupped his cheeks. He looks at me with confusion which only made my smile grow. With a soft tug I pulled him towards me, tiling up my head as we locked lips.

Ciel froze for a moment and I wondered if I had done something wrong before he started to respond. Slowly but surely we began to kiss, our lips molding together. Ciel pushed forwards, taking dominance over the kiss and poking for entrance at my lips. I didn't open my lips automatically, so instead of waiting Ciel decided to push forward one more step. 

With a surge of force I was pushed onto my bed, and Ciel landed on top of me with his hands on either side of my head, never once breaking apart. I gasped in slight surprise and he took his chance and began to slip his tongue in, mapping out his new territory.

My hands began to entangle themselves in his soft silky hair just as a cough rang through the room. Ciel seemed to not hear it and continued but I did loud and clear. My hands immediately left his hair and rested on his chest, shoving him off of me.

To my and his surprise he found himself across the room but I was to embarrassed to help.

Slowly I turned around and saw Darcy along with Sebastian standing in the doorway with sly smirks on their faces.

"Next time knock!" I yelled with a blush covering my cheeks.
