Chapter 19

Darcy's POV...

"Oh look one of them is a wolf." The three said in sync

I glanced at Alpha and the look she gave me told me she knew as well as I that I was no match for three, we would have to fight together. The triplets pulled out weapons, one with a sword, another with and axe, and the last with a spear like staff.

They suddenly advanced and I jumped back on my toes and used them as a launching pad and kicked high, kicking one in the head. He flew backwards and crashed into the others, and it slowed hem slightly. Alpha, as strong as she was would need to use good strategy to take on demons.

She ran left and then leaped right to dodge them, she pulled a knife out of her holster and sliced ones shoulder. He stumbled back and the other two instantly attacked. One swung his axe and she ducked but then the sword caught her leg. It sent her stumbling sideways though he hadn't used much force so it only left a scratch.

I ran between them and began an upper cut punch when one hooked the axe around my wrist and pulled it down. I side stepped and unhooked my arm and then sent it crashing into the face of the one with a sword. He flew backwards and hit a tree but was quick to get back up. I glanced over and saw the one wielding a spear had my alpha pinned to the ground. I whipped around and tackled him and we were both sent rolling across the dirt.

I kicked him and the chest and we broke away. I jumped to my feet and saw the blade of an axe heading straight for my face. I ducked backwards and it swung inches from my nose. I slung my leg with lightning quick speed and pin point accuracy, kicking him in the gut.

He doubled over and I spun around and kicked again this time in the face and he was sent to the ground. Alpha was wrestling with another of the triplets,  the sword one. I rushed to help her but my legs suddenly were taken out from under me. I fell forward and two of the triplets, one on each side grabbed my arms and held me down.

I looked up and saw Alpha struggling. The wolf half of me leaped to help her as I thrashed around but I couldn't break heir grasp. "What a lovely soul for master." The one holding her down hissed.

She glared furiously at him and raised her head. "Darcy, I command you fulfill my wish!"She screamed.

My eyes began to shine with green light and strength filled me. Though she had never voiced her true wish I knew good and we'll what it was. A storm of leaves began to swirl around me and the grasp of he triplets loosened and I began to transform into my demon form. My muscles grew and my back hunched and my teeth grew into razor sharp fangs. My silky skin sprouted with jet black fur and my nails turned to long curved claws. My senses with the overwhelming urge to protect my alpha, It wasn't often I turned to my demon form to save my alpha but this time it was an order.

Ember's POV.....

I looked up and as the leaves cleared I saw piecing green eyes and glistening fangs. I smirked and the two boys on either side of her stumbled backwards in fear and surprise. She raised her head an her howl split the air, if she lost control of her demon side no one could stop her. She lowered her head and a thin line of drool dripped from her parted jaws that were reinforced with razor sharp teeth. I had never seen this side of her, the demon wolf side...

Darcy's POV.......

I turned slowly on the two that had held me down, my eyes wild with anger. I leaped at one and held him down. I opened my jaws and what came out of my mouth was not a bark nor growl but a roar of pure rage that flowed through my veins. I latched my jaws around his shoulder and shook my head back and forth, ripping his flesh and blood sprayed from the wound. I grabbed him by he leg and crunched it between my fangs.

He went limp though I knew he wasn't dead. I turned to the second who was frozen in fear. I leaped at him and wrapped my jaws around his chest and lifted him into the air and shook him. My fangs sank into him and he began to hit my muzzle with his axe. I threw him to the ground and grabbed the axe and crushed it with a simple close of my mouth. It splintered and fell to the ground. He was holding a wound on his chest and I turned to the one that stood over my alpha.

My eyes narrowed and I parted my jaws parted letting out a thunderous roar. He pulled out his spear and pointing it at me. He charged and I knew he wouldn't give up as easy as the other two. He tried to stab my shoulder with the puny spear, I scoffed inwardly. He then tried to pull it out but my muscles held it in place, his eyes widened when he realized he was weaponless. I grabbed his head in my mouth and threw my head back and let go sending him flying into the air.

I leaped up and with a slash of my claws he was sent crashing into a tree, the tree cracked and fell over and he was left laying motionless. I landed and the ground seemed to shake under my weight. I looked over at my alpha. "Do it." Where the two words she chose.

I approached her and layed my greater for head on hers, and my eyes began glowing with an intense light. My eyes looked in hers and an emotion I had not seen for a long time, had appeared I her eyes, fear. She didn't know what would happen if I did this, but she trusted my, and that was enough to make her stay. I knew she wouldn't run away, she wouldn't even if she could. 

Besides, it had already begun.
