3rd person POV...
Ciel sat silently next to the large bed coved in silk blankets, drowning the small figure in them. Ciel's pale hand gripped onto the girl's as he hopped with of his heart that whatever that man did would not kill her, then he could take his revenge.
His thoughts of Ember clouded his anger and took his mind to the thought of her, making him ask himself question's like 'will she wake up?' or 'what exactly had happened?'
At the party he had to admit that he had been irrational, yelling out like that and making a fool of himself, Ember, and the whole Phantomhive name in general.
During the moment where he had snapped, all he could think about was Ember hugging that man, a man he did not know. When his eyes saw the sight of the two embracing each other his mind automatically thought of the worst.
In a fit aof rage and jealousy, he had yelled, screamed, and blamed everything on Ember, when he didn't know the whole story. He reggreted ever speaking to her in the manner and planned to apologize as soon as she woke up.
The one thing good that came out of his hissy-fit, was that he realized that, he really liked Ember. Not like a friend , or as an acquaintance, not that they had ever been anything of the sort before. He liked her in a way that made his heart start beating rapidly when she was around, he looked over all of the things that would normally annoy him to no end and found them admirable or cute.
The girl laying on the bed, wrapped in silk was the first girl Ciel Phantomhive had loved, really loved. Not like a sister, not like a mother, but as a lover.
With his new thoughts and feelings in his mind , it made it harder for him to watch the spunky and happy girl he once knew laying down in a bed, with bags under her eyes and her skin a sickly pale.
One thought confused him most of all, why did that man do it exactly. Darcy had told him that Ember did not agree to stay with him forever, but that would be no reason to do this. There had to be something bigger, something more unless the man himself was mentally unstable.
At the moment Ciel wondered how everything had happened, and wished he had the chance to ask before everything was pulled to a stop.
Delari. Ciel sounded out the name in his head and instantly felt a wave of hatred rush through him. For once in his life Ciel wanted blood, his blood. He wanted to see the life be pulled away from him until his eyes went dark and his body went limp. He wanted to cut the strings that held the man together, and twist and manipulate his mind until nothing of him was left and only an empty shell remained. If he did that, there was no way of him hurting Ember again.
A loud creak was heard and Ciel looked away from his love and to the doorway where Sebastian stood.
"What have you found?" Ciel asked, referring to the search he had sent him on to look for more info on Ember's condition.
Sebastian stood still and glanced over at the girl "I think I may have found the answer."
Ember's POV
Darkness surrounded me, I felt nothing. No soft winter breeze, no harsh winter cold or blistering hot summer air.
My whole body felt numb and I felt as if I was floating along without a care in the world. None of my problems seemed to follow me to this place, my heart, body, and mind where free of the terrifying cage of reality.
I wanted to live in this tranquility forever, or stay as long as I could, even if it was just for a little bit.
In here, there where no boundaries, no walls to hold me in and this dark place seemed to go on forever, letting me have eternal peace.
The never ending space reminded me of the day Darcy and I met, only, she wasn't here. As this thought ran through the my mind a sense of loneliness overcame me, and I no longer wanted to be here.
Memories of her and I, fighting together, the cold and hot nights we spent laying with each other. I wanted to see her, to hear her voice but all I heard was a never ending silence.
Suddenly my happiness and peace became my own solitude. I no longer felt free, but locked away and kept from everything I know and love.
There was a gaping hole in my chest, made up of loneliness and fear. I was scared, I wanted to see everyone again, to hear Finny laugh, to hear Mayrin's moments of embarrassment when Sebastian was near. I missed the sound of Bladroy's rumbling in the kitchen as he failed to make a proper meal. I wanted to witness Sebastian and Darcy turn into something more than just friends.
I wanted Ciel. I missed his sparky comments, playing chess together, how he always smelt like Earl Grey tea. I missed the way he always blushed so easily, the small smiles he would slip thinking that no one saw, his cool demeanor and the sound of his laugh, a thing I had only heard once but I remember it like it was yesterday.
Ciel, I missed him. He was the only man I truly loved. I wanted to hold him, to feel his touch, something that send a firing blaze throughout my body. I missed him, so much.
I didn't want to be here, I wanted to be home where I belong. I'm so scared, I was helpless, I didn't know what was going on and my usual not caring attitude was not showing through. It was as if someone ripped away the cloak that hid me from my emotions and now I felt a rush of them all. I felt like a small child who had no idea what to do or how to stop the acing pain that grew every moment I was in this captivity.
Please, someone. Save me.
