"You've been warned," Yamagata gestured to his men and his men launched gunshots at them.

Shiki scudded and used his body as a shield. The bullets plow through his skin and blood was on the ground. The shots ended. Shiki glared towards him "You won't harm my team," he collapsed.

"Crap," Kaise held his body and glanced towards Hadate and Tatsuya "We have to leave, make way."

Hadate nodded and shot a concussive blast from his right hand. The soldiers hammered away but Yamagata dodged in time.

Kaise escaped with Shiki on his back and Hadate with Tatsuya followed him behind. The remaining soldiers gave chase.

"These guys are persistent," Kaise looked back "I can't shake them and hide at this rate, we need to divert them."

"Understood," Tatsuya stopped for a moment and turned towards the soldiers "Now, perish," his gauntlets touched one another and resonated a ear crushing sound.

The window smashed. And the soldiers covered their ears and screamed in pain as they dropped to their knees. As the soldiers passed out due to the strong sound, Tatsuya regrouped with Kaise and Hadate.

"That's incredible powers you have," Hadate said "I've heard sound abilities were immense but that was a sight to see."

Tatsuya remained quiet.

Quickly, Kaise hid in an alleyway and so did the others. The three managed to evade the soldiers pursuing them and rest.

Footsteps echoed in the darkness. Kaise glanced. Andrew waved his hand "Calm down, I heard what happened out there so come with me."

Andrew led them into an old apartment building that seemed abandoned. He opened a rusted old door which led them to an equally old penthouse "This isn't much but you'll be able to hide here for a while."

Kaise placed Shiki in bed and sat on the chair, regaining his composure. Tatsuya looked outside the window and noticed soldiers patrolling the streets vigorously. While Hadate sat on the chair and talked with Andrew.

"The hell are the military charging us with treason?" Hadate slammed his fist on the table "I have not been the military for years but the politics in it just annoys me."

Exhaled his breath, Andrew looked out the window "From what I recall, Roy and Hanzo are also sent out so chances that we'll be caught is quite high so I need to heal him up," he walked over towards Shiki.

"He is kinda insane," Kaise said "Trying to protect us by getting his body in the way is one insane tactic."

"Yeah I guess so," Andrew chuckled and began healing him "He is an abnormal so he'll heal sooner than anyone thinks."

"What is he anyways?" Hadate asked "No normal person can survive shots like that."

"You'll know when its time," Andrew said

Leading the soldiers, Hanzo remained silent as Roy barked orders to his men as the two searched for Shiki.

"Where can that traitor be?" Roy glanced everywhere "Hanzo, why can't you track him right now? I thought you're skills will be more than enough."

Hanzo said nothing.

"Are you ignoring me?" Roy glared towards him.

Hanzo said nothing again.

"I don't really care what you think anymore now," Roy said "I'll be the one to hunt him and gain the Colonel's approval."

Looking towards the abandoned apartment, Hanzo knew that Shiki and his team were there but ignored them.

A messenger hasten towards Roy and Hanzo with news "Colonel Hercules is sending the generals to hunt them down and he wants you two to assist them."

Roy scowled "Well I don't need the generals help but," he smirked and walked ahead "I'll make sure that those generals get the help that they need."

To hold back his doubt, Hanzo said nothing and walked the other way. This news is too sudden. I am not even sure whether Hercules is really telling the truth or is the real traitor behind this. He glared towards the military headquarters where Hercules stayed at.

While inside the military headquarters, Hercules sat at the table where the other generals were with hot teas.

"Hercules, I am not sure about this," said a white haired general as he looked through the documents "How can he be the traitor when he made such an impact in the invasion to stop the horde."

"You think too much, Taiga," said a short sized man as he looked through a copy "Traitors can deceive others by simply pretending to help out to cover their true nature."

Hercules nodded "That is correct," he pointed towards the documents "Shiki, whose powers are incredibly dangerous is not to be underestimated, I will allow you to capture or kill him."

A moustached general smirked and put down the documents "I will make sure that this boy is brough to justice."

The generals all leave the room and closed the door. Hercules smirked and looked back "Everything is like you planned, Koichi."

Koichi appeared behind him and smirked "That went well but I suggest you to keep an eye on your men as well because one man can change others into his side."

"As you wish," Hercules said.

Four hours later, Shiki watched the horde terrorized his people into shreds and destroy every city in the world "No, I won't let that happen."

Hercules appeared and smirked "You won't be able to stop me when you're dead," he drew his sword and drove it towards him.

Shiki woke up and gasped. That was a dream. He looked at his bandaged body and his arm which started to glow. Thanks for waking me up and telling me the truth behind this. He held his arm. Now I know who needs to be stopped. Hercules. I won't let you destroy the hopes everyone has in stopping the horde.

He closed his eyes. I have to harden my resolve now and stop him. I have to get past every general to make that happen.
