Chapter 8. (Confessions.)

[Rosso's Sports Bar. 2:34pm.]

Harry : (slurred) "get me a next drink!"

Niall : "slow down mate little more and I'll be carrying your ass home"

Harry : "tonight I'm drinking my problems away and fuck Louis Tomlinson because he's not better than me"

Niall : (takes glass from Harry) "okay bud that's enough"

Harry : "who the fuck does he think he is? With his pretty eyes and ripped biceps"

Niall : "Oi what did they put in this drink?"

Harry : (stumbles off stool) "I mean it Niall why does he think he's better than me?"

Niall : "I doubt that very much"

Harry : "No he walks around like the big bad wolf huffing and puffing people's houses down. Well if he thinks he can blow down my house it's made of bricks!"

Niall : (laughs) "Alright let's get you home"

Harry : "I'm not ready to go home. The night is still young and I'm still-" (holds onto stomach and pushes forward vomiting)

Niall : "I am not cleaning that up"

Bartender : "Fucking great man there's vomit all over the dancefloor! get him out of here!"

Niall : "sorry mate will do" (puts Harry's hands over shoulders)

Harry : "my head is spinning"

Niall : "that's what happens when you drink ten strawberry daiquiris in a row"

Harry : (slurred) "Louis hates straw very dark rees"

Niall : (laughs) "you're cute when you're drunk"

Harry : "don't try anything Irish man!"

Niall : (makes it to his car and puts Harry in the passenger seat) "So you like Louis huh?"

Harry : (presses head against glass) "he's a dick"

Niall : (fastens seatbelt and drives off) "but you like him"

Harry : (groans) "is it that obvious?"

Niall : "not really I wouldn't have figured it out if you didn't get drunk and spilled about his pretty eyes"

Harry : (groans louder) "I'm so stupid"

Niall : "don't say that we all have our days"

Harry : "why did I have to like him? I could have liked you or Zayn even Eleanor would have been better than this"

Niall : "it's not that bad" 

Harry : "this is just great!"

Niall : "how long?"

Harry : (sits up from seat) "what?"

Niall : "how long did you know you liked him?"

Harry : "when we played truth and dare"

Niall : "that was just two weeks ago!"

Harry : "I know!"

Niall : "is that why you asked Zayn if he still had feelings for him?"

Harry : "yes, no, I don't know"

Niall : "you said you didn't find him attractive"

Harry : "if I said yes would he have appreciated it? He hates me!"

Niall : "oh boy you have it bad"

Harry : "I didn't mean to hurt his feelings"

Niall : "Zayn is a touchy subject with Louis. It's why none of us ever bring it up or question it"

Harry : "so he does still have feelings for Zayn then?"

Niall : "Zayn and Louis have been through a lot together. There are a lot of things I don't know and don't understand so it's not something I question. He loves Zayn. Zayn loves him. That's it"

Harry : (sighs) "but Zayn said he's over him"

Niall : "you don't just fall out of love Harry. The feelings are still there I just don't think it's what Louis wants it to be"

Harry : "so he wants him back?"

Niall : "Louis wanted it all that's why it ended"

Harry : "what?"

Niall : "look it's not my place to say, why don't you just ask him"

Harry : "are you mad?"

Niall : "I've seen the way he is with you Harry. You challenge him not many of us do that. He needs someone even if it's just a friend. Someone he can open up too god knows I've been trying for years now"

Harry : "what makes you think I can do that?"

Niall : "I just think you balance each other out. Louis is closed off and you're more open minded"

Harry : "he'll never talk to me"

Niall : "you can try?"

Harry : "and what if I fail?"

Niall : "don't give up on him. I know he's a handful but you just have to be patient. He's not up to letting people get close to him. He did that once and look where that ended up"

Harry : "oh"

Niall : "yeah"

Harry : "I'm feeling really sick" (holds onto stomach)

Niall : "hey no throwing up on the leather!"
