Scene 1.

[Liam Payne's Office. 9:04am.]

Niall : "so I was thinking since Louis left the spot for assistant manager is still open right?"

Liam : (looks up from his papers) "yes it is"

Niall : "well it needs to be filled"

Liam : (takes glasses off) "do you want to apply for the job Nialler?"

Niall : "God no I can't run a store to save me life but I had someone else in mind"

Liam : "and who might that be?"

Niall : (breezy) "Harry"

Liam : (stunned) "Harry?"

Niall : "why not? He's great with the customers and he's just amazing. He'd make a great boss"

Liam : "he's only been working here for five months besides he doesn't even have any previous managerial experience"

Niall : "do you trust me?"

Liam : "I do but I have to look out for the welfare of the store. Maybe Harry is a good person and what but I have to do what's best for the store"

Niall : "why are you being so against this? You know he's perfect for the job even without his experience"

Liam : "I just don't think it's the right time. He isn't ready for that kind of responsibility"

Niall : (frustrated) "Liam I really think this is a good idea"

Liam : "it's unfair to the people who have been working here trying to make it up too Niall if anyone deserves this job it's Zayn"

Niall : (disgusted) "Zayn? He's already a senior he can't be assistant manager too"

Liam : "if that's all Niall I need to get back to work you can show yourself outside" (puts glasses on and turns to computer)

Niall : "he got under your skin too didn't he?"

Liam : (sighs) "its just the beginning of the day and I have so many things to do Niall please just leave me to do it"

Niall : (walks closer to Liam's desk) "what did he tell you?"

Liam : (pushes chair back angrily) "why does it have to be something he said? It's nothing okay now leave"

Niall : "why are you getting so upset I haven't said anything to offend you"

Liam : "it's unfair okay! So fucking unfair"

Niall : (shocked but steps back to create space between him and Liam) "what is Liam?"

Liam : "he thinks he can just come here in such short notice and take away everything the rest of us have worked so hard for for so long well fucking no he's wrong and I will not let him win"

Niall : "I'm confused. Who are we talking about here?"

Liam : (pulls on hair) "fucking Harry. It's unfair that he's only been here for five months and already he's taking jobs people here dream about for years and snatching men effortlessly. I will not let that happen. I'm not going to lose him"

Niall : (soft) "lose who?"

Liam : (loud) "Louis you fucking idiot! I'm in love with Louis and Harry will not take him away from me I won't allow it. I will end his career before it even started, I will make him wish he never knew who Louis was"
