He's hands turn into fists and he takes another step back. The puntch lands into his abdiment, he growls and lands on his ass on the gym floor. "Your getting soft!" James says, pushing himself up. "Again!" he resists to kick his ass, but today they are working on his defense. Another punch comes and lands into his face.
"Fuck!" he pushes Raffell away from him and kicks him into his side with his leg," let me teach you a lesson!" He says, his voice furious and hard. The fight intensivies and Raffell makes another move and James blocks him. Raffell lands face first into the mat.
Rock music echoes throw the gym and people gather around to look them take their fury against each other.
"Kick his ass, James!" Daniel yelles over everybody else. James gathers all his strenght and finishes the fight with a hard right-hander into Raffell's face. He falls, grumbels down on the floor. Whiping away the blood tripping from his lips, James leans in and hands his trainer a hand. He grabs it and jumps up. His eyes start to swollen up and James keep whiping the running blood from his mouth. Its rought training with him, but he can release all fury on him and James knows that this is why he was hired to train him.
They grab their towels and Daniel gives James a icebag. He places it on his lips and climbs throw the ropes down from the ring.
"Nasty bruises," Daniel points at his side," no woman is going to sleep with you now!" He laughs, but it hurts to much. "Heh, this is nothing, wait for tomarrow. Then we have serious training!" He walks over to the large leather sofa what is set on the other end of the gym and lumps down on it. Still icing his lip, he whips the sweat and throws the towel on the floor next to his feet.
"Aren't you going to run today?" Daniel asks, jumping down next to him and takes a bottled water from the table and hands it to James.
James takes the ice bag away from his mouth: "Look at me," he points at the cracked lip, "ofcourse not." Daniel breaks eye-contact with him and yelles at Raffell: "Nice job. You really know how to break a guy down!" He laughs and Raffell moves closer to them. "Thank you," he sits down on the large table infront of them, sweat dripping down on it, "but we need to work more on his defense! James, your head is all over the place. One moment you are consentrating on the fight and a second later, you are somewhere in the wonderland!" He says, laughting at him.
James didn't sleep all night. When he got home after their date, he sat behind his computer and started answering the questions he took from Anna. There was around twenty of them and it took him half the night to answer to them. He choosed his responses carefully, so he wouldn't say anything he didn't want to give away from him. Yet again, he imagined Anna sitting next to him, her perfume lingering between them, interviewing him. It made it easier for him to come to his senses and respond to the questions. His lips were burnt from the tea and he felt that his mouth was blistered all over. Then he remembered that he had a fight set for today morning and he sent the document to Anna's e-mail and went to bed. He needed to feel sharp, because Raffell wasn't going to let him get slack. He pushed him to train hard and this was what he needed.
Daniel pushes himself up and walks to the ring. "Tomarrow I'm going to open the gym at 8, you guys can come right then." He says, grabbing the rope and climbs throw. "And James," he looks over to the sofa where Raffell has set himself down next to James, "next time don't bleed so much. Or you are going to clean up your DNA yourself." James laughts and throws his bottle at him but misses.
"I going to hit the shower. Do me a favor, Raf, kick his ass while I come back!" James says and gathers his things before heading out. Raf nods and throws his towel away before entering the rings where Daniel is cleaning up James's blood. Daniel heard what he had said and points at Raf, who has taken fighting position against Dan. He laughts. "James, I hate you!" He yells, as he throws the first punch at Raf and hits him in the face before doing a flip and kicking him into his side. Raf clumbels down on the floor.
Daniel Green was a MMA fighter before he opened his own gym for fighter of kickboxing. He won every match he ever took part in and he had the deadliest right-hander. After a world tourament, where he almost killed a guy, he decided to finish his career and take another goal in his life. Train fighters to fight safely. Well, boxing wasn't safe at all, but he tried the best not to pass on deadliest ways and combinations. He was good in his job but he hired some trainer, so he wouldn't have to fight so much anymore.
James took off his clothes and jumped in the shower. Hot water felt painful on his bruises, but he didn't adjust the temperature. He let the water run down his back and wash away all the sweat and dried blood from his face and skin. Even though James has to appear in social events and photoshoots almost every day, he don't care that his lip is busted and that there are large blue-purple spots all over the places he got hit. This is how he keeps himself fit. Running don't do him much and weights just improve his muscles, but kickboxing gives training another meaning. He can release all the tension, what he has built up inside him and punching somebody, especially Raf, into their face gives him power and more energy after a hard day.
Picking up his clothes from the locker room floor and shoving them back into his gym bag, he got angry. Pissed at himself and Anastasia- he saw that she had intrest in him but while doing the interview, he made a complete fool of himself. He touched his lip and pain rushed over him. Not that he hated it, but after burning it and getting beaten up by Raffell, it would hurt so much to kiss.
He wanted to see her again. Maybe even have another date with her. He fished out his phone and noticed a text message from Anna.
Thank you for answering all the questions. I really appreciate it. -Anna-
On that, he smiled and that pintching feeling of his swollen lip stopped him.
