I had a few hours before going to work and inspiraton truck me. I woke up 5 in the morning, so I wouldn't miss out anything. Adding Jake to the story was I intension from the beginning and he has an important role in the triangle of the story. How everything works out and who gets the girl? This is something you have to wait... LOL. Vote and let me know your thought about the story.
What do you think about Jake Tracells?
"Why I can't get my eyes off you?" he asks, leaning closer to her, his eyes blazing and his arms almost reaching toward her. Dressed in a dark navy suit, bright white dress shirt and no tie, he seemed rich and ruggedly handsome. A five o'clock shadow made him more hard to resist.
"Maybe, I have something between my teeth?" Anna asked playfully, drinking her coke and watching him lick his lips, same time she did. Droplets of her drink left shimmering on her jaw and when she whiped them away, the man next to her adjusted his stand.
"No! Your just.. Just so beautiful!" he says, jaw clentched.
Anna looked around, searching for something or someone. Was that guy serious?
"Are you hitting on me?" she asked, wide smile painted on her face and even blushing a little bit.
"Yes!" he said firmly, waving down the bartender. "Something for the lady, a whiskey for me."
"I usually don't accept drinks from strangers!" Anna replied, taking a sip from her coke and swallowing hard. The attension from made her knees almost give in. And something in her mind kept replaying itself. The same moment she met James. But this time it was different- she found herself intrested of him.
"A stranger huh? So you don't know who I am?" he asked, his mouth dropped open.
"Mmm, you look familiar, but..." Anna turned to face him, "I can't place a name on a face!" She laughted. "That's new. Well, I'm Jake." He introduced himself, "Trucells!"
That name sounded very familiar and now she knew from where. The Trucells family owned publication firms around the globe. They where rich, well-known family, with connections everywhere.
"So your the son of George Trucells?" she asked.
"Yes! But I'm nothing like my father." his answer came fast and almost prepared. "I actually have some decency!" he said, his eyes hooded. He paused, like there was something else he wanted to say but he just shook his head and took a big gulp of his whiskey. He made a face like it tasted bad, but he finished his drink after it.
"So, can I ask your name, gorgeous?" he asked.
"I'm Anastasia, but friends call me Anna!" she replied, her heart stuck in her throut, hands shaking and butterlies started flying in her stomach.
"Anna, such a pretty name for a girl this beautiful as you!" he said, waving the bartender down for another drink. "You must be here with your girlfriends for a bridal party! May I ask, if it you who's getting married? If so, then I apologize for hitting on you!" he said, small laught escaping his lips.
"No, my friend is. The wedding is next week!" she replied, looking at the coctail infront of her. It was pink and had a fruit decorating it. But she decided not to accept it, and pushed it away from her. She looked up to their table and there was Laura and Kirstie sitting alone, talking and stareing down to Anna. She smiled before facing Jake again.
"Good, then I'm safe!" he said, his voice melting her. "Safe?" she asked, confusion filling her mind.
"Yes, safe. Safe to take you for a dance!" he said playfully and taking the coke from her hands. "But.." Anna stilled, before she could stop him crabbing her hand and gently tugging her to follow him to the dance floor. Sam Smith's 'I'm not the only one' started playing and as he pulled her against him, the smell of his cologne filled her nostrils. He smelled like fabric softner and Armani, as his torso was pushed against her. Like instinct she put her hands around his neck and as he wrapped his hands around her waist, the heat from his body traveled to hers.
"You smell like coconut and heaven!" he said, his nose in her hair and one hand behind her neck. Running his fingers throw her hair, chills run over her skin, making her jump at his touch.
"Do you always do this?" she asked, crabbing the hems of his jacket, running her fingers under the folded part.
"Do what?" he asked, his voice soft as velvet. The music was loud, but as he leaned in so close, his mouth near where her ear was, the soft whispers made her breath more rapidly. She even didn't know the man, but something about him pulled her more closer to him. She forgot everything about Shaun and James, and that made her worried. He had put a spell on her and it was working.
"This!" she pointed at her arm and showed him the goosepumpes he had made her get.
"Sometimes. Sometimes I can make you feel more." These words almost scared her.
"More?" she asked, her arms around his neck, smelling him in.
"I can make you fall in love with me!" he said, playfully running his hand down her back, as he whispered into her ear. "Yeah, that won't happen!" Anna retaliated. "You can't be certain. I have a power!" he said, pulling her even closer. "So you think that I can be played?" she asked, pushing him away from her.
"No, not played." he leaned in, his lips almost touching hers and his hands still cripping her from behind, so she wouldn't move away. "I almost lost myself in your eyes, as I saw you. Something about you screamed for me and now that you are in my embrace and not backing away, I can see that you like it." His breath against her skin, that warm air moving up and down her neck as he discovered her soft spot. That made her almost melt in his arms and now she felt that he had a power over her. She was unable to move, and time stayed still.
"You are a confident guy, aren't you?" she asked, shaking herself from the magic he had over her.
"Well, I try to be. I don't lie to woman. Especially if I like them." The song ended and most of people moved back to their table. There was a moment of silence before another song started. As Anna stook a step back, she hit Laura, who was standing behind her. "We need to go! Kristie is too drunk and I'm not feeling well." she said, swallowing hard and her face turned white. "Ohh, ofcourse. Let me just say good-bye and then we can go!" Anna answered, her head spinning from the moment.
As Laura stumbled back to the front door, where Kristie was sitting on a random chair, her head between her hands, Jake fished out his phone from his pocket. Laura leaned against the door frame and kept an eye on Anna. "Let me walk you out!" Jake said, taking her hand and tugging her before she could leave. "Ok!" her voice sounded almost desperate not to leave. "Can I get your number, Anastasia? I feel that there is something special between us!" he said with a confident voice. That guy was so coming foward, all he said felt like pure thruth and he didn't hide his feelings. "Sure!" Jake gave her his phone and as she started typing in random numbers, she thought of James, who's face lingered in her mind. She had to get him out from her system and the only way she could do this, was started seeing another man.
She deleted the random numbers and typed in the real ones. When she handed back his phone, Laura and Kristie had already gone out. She followed him to the from door and saw a taxi parked outside. Laura was despretly trying to get her drunk sister in there and the doorman was by her side. Before she could join them, Jake pulled Anna's hand. "Can I kiss you? I would like to keep some keepsake, if the number you put in my phone was fake." He said, his lips almost touching her mouth. "It's real. My number, I mean!" she replied, taking another step closer to him. She wanted him to kiss him, even though she had met him just a half hour ago.
"So you do want to see me again?" he asked ruggedly, moving a string of hair away from her face and leaning in almost the whole way. The touch of his mouth on hers felt as soft as she imagined. "Yes." she mumbled, her eyes closed at the feeling that covered her. "That's good." He pulled her body against him and his lips covered hers, with a lust and passion so strong, Anna felt earth moving under her feet. One of his hands behind her neck, he pulled her in for a deeper kiss, as he made contact with her tongue. He tasted her lips, caressing her with his arms around her back, devouering all she had to offer. The moment had lasted forever, as he pulled away to catch his breath.
"Baby, I can't wait to see you again!" he said, breathless and all worn out from the kiss. She pulled away from his grip and sat in the taxi.
"I imagine, you can't!" she laughed, before the doorman closed the car door and the taxi drove off.
