Anna's POV
"Hi!" I walked into the lobby of the venue and directly saw Laura standing next to Kristie laughting her head off. It was the day before wedding and some of us already decided to log into the hotel and get ready for Laura's important day.
"Anna. Did you bring my shoes?" Laura based up to me, searching for the shoebox, like I was carrying it. "Yeap. It's in the car. How could you forget these in the apartment?" I asked, waving at her frusterly and gave her my car keys. "I don't know. I think I was too nervous and like always I miss some stuff." Her smile turned into a frown.
"Here! They are in the trunk, I'm going to take my things into my room. What's the room number?" I asked, setting my suitcase down and walking up to the receptionist.
"16!" Laura yelled, before opening the door and running out. Kristie stayed back and as Laura was out of sight, she walked next to me at the front desk.
"They lost their photographer and she's all messed up about it. Mike is now back in the city to find someone else." She whispered into my ear.
"What? That sucks." I whisper back, my head turning to the front door to see Shaun appearing throw the large glass doors. This time the girl with her isn't the same one I had seen him before. This time he was with a tall brunette, boobs as large as bowling balls, I swear, she looked redicilous.
"What do we have here?" He said, as he saw me, his smile wicked and threatening. My heart sunk into the heal of my shoe and my breathing got heavy. He walked up to me, his arms reaching for me. "The girlfriend of a famous movie star!" He laughed to my face, his bright white teeth tightly clenched.
I ignored him, turned back to take my room key from the receptionist. "So you are ignoring me? Good, I like that." I could feel him smirk behind my back and a chuckle escaped his lips. I didn't say anything, yet alone I didn't want to see him. Actually I even wanted James to be here to shut him up.
"Babe, we need a room with a large bed!" He turned to the girl behind the desk. The blond behind the counter looked up, "Your name?" She asked, typing in her computer.
"Shaun Miller!" He answered, leaning on the desk, his fingers crossed and the girl who he was with, stood next to him, her both arms at his forearm.
"17!" The girl answered, handing him the key.
Oh no, the room beside mine. The images of me sitting on my bed alone, listening to them having sex behind the wall separateing our room springed into my mind. I really should find some cottonballs to showe into my ears or even ask if I could change the room. Suddenly my phone buzzed in my pocket and the forgine number was on the screen. Jake, but I didn't answer. I turned it on silent and waited for Laura to return. She was already behind the door when I looked out. She ran in, breathless and happy.
"Got them! By the way, your car is leaking something!" Laura set the box under her armpit and whiped her arms into her skirt.
"Leaking?" I asked.
"You know, there is a large dark puddle under the car. I think it oil or maybe break fluid. Not sure." She replied and kocked her head on one side. "Shaun!" she said surprised.
"Hi Laura!" He answered turning back to face her and hugged her. I could see the expression on Laura's face and almost burst out laughting. She looked horried and discusted at the same time. When he let her free, Laura adjusted her hold of the box and walked up to me. "I didn't know he would come today. He wasn't supposed to!" She apologized to me, almost feeling guilty of the friendship between Mike and Shaun.
"It's ok!" I whispered, smiling.
Shaun took his room key and crabbed the hand of his date. "Come on baby, let's go. I want you!" he said, almost loud, so I could hear him.
