Shonna did just what she said what she would do. The instructions went out and Pellaeon was on his way. When he received the instructions of the secret society plan, he understood of why it kept Shonna so long. He stood there staring at the view screen, while speaking to his Captain about it.
"These societies, they must have taken months to place them," he said still staring at the viewscreen. "And for us to go out and collect them like a life debt, it seems that, this had to have come from the Emperor himself. It's too perfect, to be otherwise," he admitted.
"Do you think that these societies, are ready for us?" Captain Zelless asked.
"They must be, or she wouldn't be sending us. She has that same power the Emperor did. I wouldn't cross her again. The best thing for us to do is to just do what she has asked. Otherwise we'll find our self's on the chopping block. Is that clear?" he asked.
"Yes Admiral."
Ulonna found herself completely suspended in fluid in a large bacta tank watching the dimly lit room through the glass. Her red hair was floating above her head, weightless in the liquefied chemical. She hung there with a breathing apparatuses in her mouth, wishing that this would end quickly. The gray body suite she was given to wear had monitoring instruments that went against her skin and told the droid her progress. The medical droid that sat at the top of the upright tank, waited for the processes to finish. She couldn't see him, so she felt alone. "This would be a lot easier if I had something to focus on," she thought. She closed her eyes and withdrew into herself, and she remained that way until she felt Luke's presence enter the room. She didn't move, but she opened her eyes. She allowed herself the emotion of fear to enter her mind to see just how quick he would react to it. She pressed her hands against the glass and waited for his reaction. It was quick and he looked up and asked the droid how long she had left. The droid turned and said; "ten minutes until final assessment." Luke dropped his eyes to hers and pressed his right hand against the glass on the opposite side of where hers was. I wish I could give her comfort, he thought.
"You are, please don't leave," she whispered through the force. He heard the whisper and his eyes widened.
"Can you hear me?" He whispered back. He could usually make people feel his presence, but carry on full conversations; that's unheard of, he thought. She nodded in acknowledgment. "I'm not going anywhere," he said, and together with their eyes locked waited the last ten minutes.
The next moment, Ulonna was standing in a room with a white fluffy robe being placed upon her shoulders. The droid scurried out of the room as she pulled the sides of her robe together around herself. When Luke entered the room she had sat down on the assessment table waiting for the droid to give her a clean bill of health so she could leave. He walked over to her and asked her how she was feeling.
"Better," she said politely. Luke smiled and then asked.
"How did you do that? We hear a word or two when we concentrate, but not full conversations. How is this possible?" He demanded. She cleared her throat.
"It's part of the dream thing. Not only can I project thought, I hear it too. I try not to, but I catch myself answering a thought from time to time." She admitted. That made him panic.
"Do you hear all thoughts?"
"Only the ones on the surface." Luke thought for a moment.
