In the darkness of space, a blue-green planet hung in the shadows. The globe spun in silence, as a small shuttle was forced out of hyperspace and into its orbit. It hovered for a moment, before plunging helplessly toward the surface of the planet Mimban.

An Imperial Star Destroyer was also in the planets orbit. It monitored the collapse of the tiny shuttle engines as it ripped out of its present course. The first lieutenant sat below the dimly lit walkway of the main bridge staring at the dark painted instruments when he saw the situation. He immediately reported to his commanding officer, who was standing above him on the walkway, about the scene.

"It was forced out of hyperspace commander," he said loudly.

Commander Tener was a young  looking man.  When he accepted this rank, he knew that Admiral Pellaeon had great trust in him, he did not want to disappoint him. Tener turned to the Lieutenant. "Trace its known trajectory."

"Yes sir!" He said  watching his Commander's eyes. He couldn't help but feel uneasy about this mission. He felt that somehow Tener's crew, and he with it, were about to perish.

On the planet Luke had landed without the Imperial Star Destroyer's knowledge. He had slipped past when the Destroyer's attention was on the shuttle. He landed right next to the repair shop. So Fixer himself greeted him. It was a handshake at first and then followed by a hug. Laughing at the first impression and then reminiscing about old times.

"This is a lot different than Tosche Station," Luke stated with a smile standing there in the morning mist.

"It pays the bills, come on I'll give you the grand tour." He said motioning for his friend to follow. Luke did follow, but his mind was on the Star Destroyer that he passed undetected. His curiosity got the best of him.

"Are they mining here again?" he inquired trying to be nonchalant.

"Not that I know of!" Fixer answered surprise. "Why?" Luke thought for a moment, stopping at the porch.

"This concerns me. You have a Star Destroyer looming up there ready to pounce.  That makes me wonder what Pellaeon is up to." Fixer shrugged, his face went pale. The thought of an Imperial garrison that came with mining, bothered him.

"In that case maybe you should pull your ship into the shop," he suggested.

"I think you may be right," Luke said turning back to the ship.

Just after Luke landed inside the bay, he tried to contact Coruscant, to inquire about mining in the area, but he was cut off.  He climbed down again, out of the cockpit to join his waiting friend. They both stood there talking for a moment before hearing a loud whistling noise. They both stepped outside the bay door to see where the noise was coming from. A bright stream of light streaked across the morning sky. They watched the fireball disappear into the tree line and the morning fog. It made a loud noise as it tore through the trees in its path. Then a loud crumpling noise came as it hit the surface.

Inside the cockpit that was still intact, Ulonna sat back from the console. Her shaken hand came to the gash on her forehead and she wiped the blood from her face. She realized the ship was on fire, so she pulled herself from the restraints and crawled out to safety. She slumped down against a large tree and stared at the burning wreckage. She wondered if this world would be the one she could call home, or if it would push her along to the next one like the others she had visited. Her weary mind slipped in and out of consciousness as the fog rolled back in over the wreckage. The firelight was the only thing you could see through the fog.
