Chapter 18

The urgency, was well felt, as Luke, Ulonna, and Leia entered the newly remodeled conference room. Upon walking in Ulonna noticed something familiar about the room. It was her old quarters. It was dramatically changed, but it still was the same room. She noticed something that was familiar, and very dear to her heart. So she walked over to the table where it was sitting on and picked it up.

"It's still here," she said out loud. Luke, and Leia walked over to the table where she was standing.

"They said this room was a bedroom of some sort, for someone of importance." Leia repeated what she had heard.

"I wouldn't say, I was that important." Ulonna smiled. Leia stared at her for a moment.

"This was your room?" she asked.

"Yes," Ulonna answered plainly, and returned her attention to the box she was holding. "Out of all the things, I left here, this is the one I regret leaving the most." she whispered.

"What is it?" Luke asked, as Ulonna turned the switch to the on position. It was a hallow gram of a singing Zenoben warrior.

"What is it singing?" Leia asked, but Ulonna said nothing. She was caught up in the melody. It took Leia touching her, for her to break from its trance.

"What?" she asked.

"What's it singing," she repeated.

"Oh sorry, it's a prophecy," she breathed. "This was a gift, from my mother. It was for being accepting for the trials of becoming a Zenoben warrior," she said as she was again, taken back to the moment in time. She knew her mother was very proud of her. She missed her.

"Ryessa, if it means that much, take it with you." Leia said feeling Ulonna's thoughts. Ulonna broke out of her trance again.

"Leia, I much rather have it displayed," She said turning it off, and placed it back on the table.

"Ryessa, I've seen these markings in the temple. I think you should display it there. It will be more appropriate," Luke said with a smile.

"You think so."

"I know so. This is a Jedi relic, not for the republic."

"Alright." She picked up the box, and they walked over to the benches and sat down, where Han, and Lando were sitting. Lando about came unglued when he saw Ulonna.

"Ryessa," he whispered with excitement. She just smiled and said "Lando." Lando just stared at his friend.

"She is alive. Han, you didn't tell me ," he whispered again.

"Sorry buddy, I just haven't had time," he said making an excuse. It wasn't a very good one, but it worked. Because he didn't say another word. The next moment the two droids walked in, and the meeting began with Mon Mothma saying;

"Forgive us for pulling all of you away from you're families, but the Imperial movement has been brought to our attention. The sudden systems that have turned to the Imperial side have created great danger for the new republic."

The lights dimmed and the holoprojector, showed stars all over the room. The systems that had been taken over showed up in red, and when Ulonna saw it she leaned over to Luke and asked. "Do you see what I see?"
