Chapter 15

Yo!!!!

I am back! So sorry for the long wait. My exams are finally over and I am now back to writting this story. So glad to be back><!!!!

Since it has been a long time since I last wrote a new chapter, here is a breif recap on the previous few chapters. Enjoy!

Dianna's POV

"Do I look alright?" I asked, blushing.

A beautiful grin that made my heart miss a few beats broke across his handsome face. "You look absolutely lovely in anything, my love."

M...my love? He just called me his love and we have not even had our first date! I blushed even harder.

"You don't mind me calling you my love, do you?" He asked and gave me a wide puppy look. I giggled at his cuteness and shook my head.

"May I?" Chase held out his hand.

I reached out shyly and took it. His hand are large enough to fully envelope mine. This may seem weird but it does give me a sense of security. With Chase, it feels like nothing could ever go wrong.

"You are going to be alright." Chase assured.

"I freaked out the other night! They must think that I am insane or something!" I exclaimed, feeling a bubble of panic slowly going to burst inside me.

"They totally understand why that happened. They will still love for you to go to the barbeque."

Mrs Silver had invited me to a mass barbeque that is held at the East American pack house. Everyone, including Chase and Mr Silver pack, would be there! Poor me is currently having a nervous breakdown here. My palms are sweating and the cool night air feels stifling hot to me.

Squeezing my hand that he is holding, Chase smiled at me, trying to calm my nerves. I sighed. This is going to be a long, long night.

~~in front of the pack house~~

"Are you sure she is going to be alright with me coming here with you?" I asked Chase for the hundredth time.

"She will love you once she truly gets to know you." Chase replied, ever patiently.

Smoothen my blouse, I twiddled my thumbs nervously. This feeling! It is like going for an oral examination! Actually, worse than that!

Chase took my hand and made comforting circles at the back of my hand. With his other hand, he tilted my face such that I was now staring at him.

"I am going to by your side the entire night. I will never leave you all alone. If you are truly uncomfortable, just say the word. I'll bring you back to the summer house immediately." Chase said solemnly.

I can't possibly do that! Chase had looked so forward for this gathering. I could tell that he would be disappointed if I choose to give up half way! I would only end up feeling guilty for disappointing him after all he had done for me.

Swallowing hard, I said boldly, "Let's go then."

Chase led me into the house.

I gaped at the sight that greeted me. Is Chase sure when he said that it is a barbeque night? This resembles a party more likely!

Couples, single guys and girls littered all over the floor. Some were making out on the couches, some were sprawled on the floor, playing Xbox games, some were chatting and laughing, some were playing true or dare with an empty beer bottle.
