Dianna's POV

The summer air smell so fresh, I thought. Three days in the sickbay and I swear the smell of the disinfection soap used to clean the entire room is etched forever in my nose. Even the food did not taste appetising.

I sighed. It is good to be out of the sickbay and feel the warm summer wind blowing gently against my face. Birds chirped happily as they fly around in search for food.

Snow White must be really lucky to have birds, rabbits and cute Bambi as friends. I smiled. If I start singing Snow White song, will the birds come to me and sing with me?

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Chase asked.

I snapped out of my daydream and realised that we had reached our home. I blushed. It’s a good thing that werewolves cannot read minds or he would be thinking I am childish or something. I just can't resist stories that have happily ever after endings. This may sound childish and immature in this reality but I have always wanted a happily ever after for myself too.

"Yea..." I mumbled.

This silence is so awkward! I exclaimed mentally.

"Dianna! What are you doing standing outside?" Aunt Marge shouted from the door way.

Oh no! Aunt Marge is going to kill me now! Or maybe she is going to kill Chase!

Panicking and fearing for Chase's life, I started pushing him towards his car, mentally willing him to go away.

"Hey Margie!" Chase called out.

I froze in my track. Margie? Did I just heard Chase calling Aunt Marge, Margie? What is going on?

"Oh it’s you Chase." She smacked her palm on her forehead. "You are still studying in Morvilla High right? Of course you would have met my niece, Dianna."

He smiled down at me. "Yea."

Usually, I would have blushed, but right now, my mind is in a whirl. What on earth is going on? How did Chase got to know Aunt Marge? Why would Aunt Marge befriend Chase? Chase is a non-human! She should be hating him!

Chase looked down at me. "What is wrong? You don't look well. Are you alright?"

My face must have been very pale for Chase started looking worried. He quickly helped me to the front porch and made me sit down. Aunt Marge frowned down at me.

"You don't look well. If you don't feel well, you should have remained in the hospital." Aunt Marge said sternly.

"I...I am fine. I just...just didn't know that you knew Chase." I stammered.

Aunt Marge laughed. I stared at her in confusion. Shouldn't she be running after Chase with a knife or a gun now? Not that I am hoping this to happen, but I thought that Aunt Marge would be like the rest of her family. Usually her family would have taken a broom of threatened to call the police whenever any non-human stepped onto their land.

"Silly girl! I am not like my family! I am in fact the black sheep of the family!" Aunt Marge laughed heartily.

Oh. But the way she act around me, is just like them!
