Dianna's POV

Blinking sleepily, I realised that I was still in the hospital. Stretching, I felt my muscles twitch but was otherwise alright. I smiled. Just yesterday, I could not even move a single muscle without wanting to cry.

Tess, the girl who claimed to be Chase's best friend and a few others whose name I cannot remember, came two days ago. They told me that they were going to help me ease my pain with moon magic. I had been curious as not a single book had written about such thing. They sat in a circle around me in meditating style and had joined their hands. One guy named Don had taken my right hand and another girl name Tess took my left hand.

At Tess command, all had closed their eyes and sat there silently. I was waiting for something major to happen when I had felt warm creeping up my hands from where Don and Tess hands were. The warm feeling had quickly creep into my shoulder, chest and very soon, my entire body was basking in the delicious feeling of warm. I did not realise that I had closed my eyes to savour the sensation until I opened them.

Tess had been looking at me when I opened my eyes. She had asked me to move my hands and feet. At first I had furiously refused as the pain was beyond imagination when I had merely lift a finger when I first woke up in the sickbay. Then, I had realised that the ever present pain was actually gone. Feeling a little curious, I had lifted one of my fingers. Nothing happen. A spark of hope lighted in my chest then. I had then carefully lifted my entire right hand. Instead of the agony I should be feeling, all I felt was muscle aches. Tess had told me that they had combined their magic and healed all of my worst injuries. I will still feel a lot sore as the muscled are still tender and my broken rib bones had been re-joined and sealed.

I was so happy to be free of the pain that I had cried. Tess had not said a single word but she had hugged me while the rest of the people who came to help had walked out quietly. All the fears and pain I had felt over the past two days came pouring out in sobs.

For more than two nights, I had been having the same nightmare over and over again. I had dreamed that I was being attacked again by Timmy and his friends. But in my dream, they were larger and had glowing blood red eyes. The dream me had tried to run but it feels as if the ground beneath me was like a treadmill, moving in the opposite direction of where I was running. No matter how hard I ran, I did not even moved an inch. Timmy and his friends had caught up quickly and again, no matter how much I cried and begged again, they refused to stop. Then I would wake up screaming and drenched with sweat. I was so afraid. So afraid.

Fortunately for me, Chase was always here, right beside me. And everytime I woke up crying and screaming, he would be there holding me, comforting me. Each time, I would fall right back to sleep in his arms.
