Chase's POV

I watch as Wolf took down yet another prey. Dimly, I was aware that it was just a tiny rabbit. I shoved an image of a red ribbon down our spirit bond to Wolf. Wolf grunted and abandon our prey. The rabbit ran off in fear. Wolf was not happy. A predator does not abandon its prey. To convince him to work with me, I push to him the knowledge that if he finds the red ribbon, we would be able to spent time alone with our mate. Without our pack members interrupting us. Wolf tilted his head to a side and thought for a moment. I could feel that he was greatly interested. Even though our mate had been with us for quite a few days, Wolf had not really been spending much time with our Dianna. Each time, I was in control or there would be others who would snatch her attention away from us. This displeases and annoys Wolf. I quickly push more images of letting Wolf out to play with our Dianna down the spirit bond. Wolf quickly made up his mind and decided to find the prey with the red ribbon.

Putting his nose down, he started sniffing around for another trail.

There!

We scented the scent of a adult male moose. Sharpening our senses, we proceed to track down the moose.

Just as we believe ourselves to be a few feet away from our prey, we heard the sound of the snarls of enrage wolves as well as the bellows of an angry moose. Lowering ourselves onto our belly, we creped forward. In front of at least half a dozen wolves, an injured moose was swinging is antlers around, preventing any wolves from coming closer to it. Its back was to a high rock and it was trapped. Wolf's first instinct was to leap in and join in killing the prey but I halt him. I made Wolf examine the moose.

I was right! On the right antler, a red ribbon was waving merrily as the night breeze blows by. Again, Wolf wanted to jump in to attack but I stopped him. Wolf growled softly in annoyance at me. I ignored it and showed him my plan. Wolf did not understand why I am doing this but he trusted me and followed my instruction.

My plan was to attack the moose from above by climbing up the high rock behind the moose and jump onto its back. Since the moose cannot turn its head three hundred and sixty degrees, with Wolf on its back, Wolf would have no fear of getting stabbed by the antlers as he goes for the final strike to end the moose's life.

Retreating backwards, we walked up to behind the high rock. Behind the high rock, both Wolf and I realised that we are not the only ones who had thought of this idea. Don Hermen, my Beta was steadily climbing up the high rock. I frowned. Of course I should have expected this of him. Not only is he my Beta, he loves Tess as much as I love our Dianna. The reward of tonight's hunt would be every mated pairs' dream. To be allowed free travel to Hawaii without the need to adhere to the Hawaii protocol, it’s like a dream come true.

Quickly, we caught up to him and issued a warning growl. As much as I care for him, my bestfriend, I care more about getting a holiday with our Dianna alone.  Don had already heard of our approach and was standing in a defensive stance, hackles raised. The high rock is like a plateau. We were able to circle each other.

Then, Don finally leaped. Wolf snarled and charged forward as well. We met mid-air. Fangs flashed and droplets of blood rained onto the ground. Wolf had managed to bite down on his neck area and he had managed to land a few lucky scratches on Wolf's belly. We both charged again, trying to hurt each other enough to ensure of our victory.  Don aimed for my throat but Wolf dodge to aside and tried to attack at his flank. He stumbled backwards to avoid the blow. Seeing that his rival is off balance, Wolf quickly struck. Somehow, Don could have managed to Dodge Wolf's attack at the last second, but he went motionless without regards that Wolf was going to hurt him badly. Wolf swerved at the last moment and avoided striking him.

'What's wrong?' I thought to him.

'Tess suddenly cut off the connection between us.' Don thought back, sounding worried.

'Maybe she has her own reason? I hear that the girls wanted to prepare a surprise for us after the hunt.'

'Yes. I know. But to cut off all? Can you even feel her via the pack bond?'

Wolf and I went deep down and felt around the pack bond. What I found made my blood ran cold. Not only was Tess's bond cut off but also a few other girls. Including Cassie! Alarm rang through my system. Mum said that she had felt something bad is brewing. Could this be it?

Feeling worried, Wolf and I threw our head back and howled for my pack's attention. Both Don and I ran as fast as I could towards the pack house where I had last left our Dianna.

By the time we reach the back garden of the pack house, most of the pack members have already assembled there. Just then, father ran up to us in his wolf form. In a blink, he shifted into his human form.

"Have you seen your mother?" Was his first words to me.

I shook my head mutely. The sickening feeling in the pitch of my stomach worsened. Something is really wrong here.

"Alpha! Alpha!" A distressed cry can from the pack house.

We turned and saw a tearful Malina running towards us.

"What's wrong, child." Father asked calmly.

"It's Mrs Silver, Tess and the rest of the girls in the kitchen duty....They are all unconscious in the basement all tied up." She sobbed. "I can't find Dianna or Cassie."

I froze. Dianna. Mum.

As one, father, Don and I ran towards the basement with the rest of the pack members trailing behind.

We burst into the basement to find another tearful member struggling to untie four unconscious werewolves. Father rushed to mum's side and held her against himself. I watched as his eyes close in concentration. A frown appeared on his face before his face became pale.

"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly, my heart sick with fear for Dianna. Everyone had gone off to try and track down my Dianna and Cassie. My heart is torn between finding my Dianna or caring for my unconscious mother.

"Mr Silver! I found this!" Don said as he held out a dart the size of my finger. He, too, was cradling an unconscious Tess in his arms.

"Have someone send it for analysis." Father barked out. "Bring whoever unconscious to the pack house! Garnet! Prepare your medic stuff and meet us in the pack house!" Garnet is father's pack's doctor.

Father turned to me. "Go find your mate. I will take care of your mother and the rest. Do not let those filthy humans get Dianna out of the country or we might have pack conflicts!"

I nodded and dashed off. John, my enforcer, ran up to me. "I have track down Dianna's and Cassie's scent up to the edges of the forest. The humans must have left by vehicles." He reported.

I cursed. "Have all our hackers hack into every streets' camera! Track down each and every suspicious vehicles."

"Yes, sir." With that, he ran off, issuing orders.

Wolf howled in his rage. Just when he thought that everything is going to be calm now that he had satisfied his pack members by claiming his mate, such mess had to appear. All that Wolf can think was that his Dianna is gone. Clenching m fist tightly, I silently swore to our mother moon.

I will personally tear the humans behind this attack apart. I will make sure that they suffer pain worse than hell. I will make them wish that they were better off dead. So hear me. If they even so much as put a single scratch on my Dianna, I will definitely make them pay for it!

DIANNA!!!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ouch! Why do Dianna have to be so unlucky? Well, that is how i am going to make her relation with Chase grow and blossom! Haha!
