Summary

Hey guys. I am officially back. Sorry for the long wait. I know it has been like one month since my exams are over. Due to my sister's influence, somehow, I got addicted to Japanese anime call one piece. For that, I am so sorry. Now, I have decided to go back to the a chapter per week thing.

Anyway, I have made several changes to the story. Not major ones. Just basically some spelling, grammar and the part on Dianna's past. So don't worry that you, readers, have to reread the front few chapters again. Below, I have written a detailed summary from chapter one to sixteen. I hope it has not been too long until you guys totally forgot the entire story. So after reading this summary, I hope to be able to refresh your memories of my book, Reaching Out.

I know that a few readers have been asking about scorching hot and I have decided to continue it after I have finish writing Reaching Out. Please be patient and I am sorry that I cannot multi-write stories.

Dianna Campbell had been an orphan since her parents died in a car accident four years ago. Since then, she had been passed from one relative to another. Why? That's because, she is a half werewolf and half human. Almost all her relatives are non-human haters who wants nothing to do with her.

Currently, she now lives with her mother's youngest cousin known as aunt Marge. Dianna is currently studying in Morvilla High. However, on her first day of school, she accidently offended the school's most popular girl by calling her a vampire when she is actually a werewolf. Due to this incident, the entire school population hates her and constantly played pranks on her.

One day, she bumped into a guy called Chase who turned out to be her mate, which she had not yet known. After that, she went back to class as per normal. A globin by the name of Timmy played a very lame prank on her. She then humiliated him by acting unaffected to the whole class.

Then, at break time, Timmy and his gang, captured Dianna and beat her up in revenge in the janitor's room. Chase was informed of her demise by his pack member. But it was too late. Dianna was already badly injured. She was rushed to the hospital where Chase awaited her recovery.

Chase then revealed that he was her mate. Dianna could not believe what he said at first. Chase did not push but allowed her to slowly absorb that fact. With the help of moon magic that werewolves are blessed with, a group of Chase's pack member and omega healed Dianna's worse wounds.

When Dianna was finally discharged, Chase drove her home. That was when Dianna found out that aunt Marge, or rather Jessie, was her mother's bestfriend's and not one of the non-human haters. Not only that, Jessie was mated to Gordon, the enforcer of Chase's father's pack. Dianna realised that she would no longer need to fear that she would be passed of to another family again.

Chase's parents decided that it was time for them to meet 'the one' for Chase and invited her to dinner in a restaurant. It turns out that Chase's mother was once an emergency unit nurse. Dianna knew that her past would be revealed to Chase. She then ran off out of fear and sadness of losing Chase.

After Chase came to find her after realising the truth from his mother, Dianna told him about her past.

Four years ago, Dianna met a guy name Troy during her parents' death ceremony. He seemed to be a great guy and Dianna decided to date him. However, after a while, his personality began to change. He became obsessive, paranoid and unreasonable. He would call her hourly demanding what she was doing, whom she was with and accusing her of cheating on him.

After persuasion from her friend, Dianna decided to break up with him. He begged to meet up at his home. When Dianna continued to insist on breaking up with him, he became violent. He accused her again on cheating on him and abused her. When. Dianna regained consciousness after the first assault, Troy tried to rape her. Dianna managed to find a weapon which is a bath and knocked Troy unconscious. Then, she tried to escape. Little did she knows that Troy's body guard was standing watch outside and tried to stop her. Dianna gave him a hard push and accidently pushed him down a flight of stairs. Dianna realised that she had killed a man when she could not find a pulse. The horror of killing a man caused her to fall into a coma for a week.

Troy was later, prosecuted, jailed for five years and canned. Dianna was spared as she had killed only in defence.

After hearing this sad tale, Chase became her anchor and comforted her. Remembering the omega's advise, he invited her to his pack and his father's pack gathering to let her feel that she is not alone. This was so that he could officially introduce Dianna as his mate to his pack as well.

The gathering is held in Orchard Central and Cassie and a few other girls dragged Dianna for shopping. At the mean time, Chase was plotting to take his revenge on Troy who happened to be on house arrest. However, he was stopped by his father due to the increase in activity in the Human Superior organisation. Chase was displeased as he felt that Troy was a threat to his mate. But for the sake of the protection of the non-humans, he agreed to await his revenge no matter how unhappy he was.

Then his father had to be the bearer of a very grave news. In this gathering, Chase had to officially claim Dianna as his alpha female. This was so that the magic of his mating would spread to his entire pack and that mated pairs can finally bear children. Chase was stricken. He was afraid that if he claims Dianna too soon, she would feel as if she had no choice in this matter and hate him for it. On the other hand, if he refuse to claim her for the sake of his happiness, he would be signing his pack's death warrant. Basically, he was torn between the good of his pack and his mate's happiness. With his mother's advice and encouragement, he decided to ask for Dianna's opinion instead of worrying too much even before knowing how Dianna felt about him.
 
Meanwhile, in another part of the world, a certain somebody had just received payment for the assassination of Chase and the kidnapping of his Dianna. Plans were being made for this job. Will they succeed?
