Chapter 21

Hi guys! Some of you may know that the chinese celebrates this event call Chinese New Year. I am a chinese so you know. For the entire of this week, I'll be out visiting distant relatives so I am not going to be home or writing more chapters. I am sorry for any delay so I am uploading two new chapters in a day for you guys to read.

I have just creat a facebook account! Yeahhh! Ok, haha. I am a complete geek and lousy in IT stuff. I would like all of you fans to add me. This way, I can 'talk' to you guys whenever I am signed in via my hp. I have to admit, I am still a little new in it so basically I am still learning from my sister. Please add me as friend okay?

Dianna's POV

There was a huge pond in the middle of the clearing. In the middle of the pond was a large flat rock with small stepping stones leading to it. The pack members are all sitting around the pool. So were Mr and Mrs Silver.

Holding hands with Chase, we walked towards the pond. Just as I was about to step on the stepping stones, my world twirled as Chase suddenly swept me off my feet. I squealed in surprise. He merely laughed and walked towards the large stone.

The full moon hung beautifully on the sky, illuminating the clearing. Finally, we were standing on the flat rock, facing the pack members who were staring back at us. Some were smiling, some others, especially the mated ones, were staring at us with part eagerness and joy on their faces. Looking at the sea of faces facing me, I started feeling nervous all over again. Chase, sensing my sudden increase in nervousness, gave my hand a reassuring squeeze.

As if cued, the traditional drummers seated at the back of the crowd started a slow tempo. Tess, Chase's omega, dressed in an all-white dress, stepped forward from the crowd, barefooted. In slow measured step, she started walking towards us. Two children, namely Lucy and Tommy, her brother older by a year, trailed behind, holding a basket full of the white petals from a flower named Moondrip which represents the blessing of the moon.

Soon, Tess and the children stood in front of us. The drummers stop. The soft melody of a flute gently whistled the air. As one, the two children threw a fist full of petals at us.

"Do you, Chase Silver Wolf, heir to the alpha of the West American Pack, agrees to take Dianna Campbell, daughter of a human and her werewolf mate, as your eternal mate and alpha female, to love and be there for her when needed forever?" Tess asked in a raised voice so that everyone present could hear what was being said.

Chase looked down at me and smiled. In a loud, confident tone, he said, "I do." The children then, threw another fist full of petals at Chase. At this moment, I knew that there would be no other sights as beautiful as seeing Chase, in his tux like suit, looking down at me with love brimming in his eyes as he without hesitation, declared me as his. My heart constricted, full of love for this man in front of me.

Tess turned to me. "Do you, Dianna Campbell, daughter of a human and her werewolf mate, agrees to take Chase Silver Wolf, heir to the West American Pack, as your eternal mate and alpha male, to love and support his decisions forever?"

Tears welled up in my eyes as I choked out, "I do." And the children threw a fist full of petals at me as well.

Tess closed her eyes, tilted her head to the sky and said, "Oh Mother Moon, we are here to witness the claiming between two of your children, Dianna Campbell and her mate, Chase Silver Wolf."
