Chapter Twelve

Brett.

When I woke up, I was surprised to see I wasn't in the room with the girl, but instead I was in my bed. I lifted my head up slightly but I put it back down on the pillow once a sharp pain hit. My head felt like a thousand pounds.

I wondered how I got back home considering the girl told me that when I woke up I would still be in that room and that I'd have to walk home.

The thought of Liam suddenly hit me and then I became worried. I forced myself to get up but I was held back by arms.

"What the-"

I looked down and saw Liam wrapped around me. I laughed quietly and put my head back down again.

"You should really take these," Liam said to me once we were both awake and getting ready for whatever the day would bring. He held out two pills -which I didn't know what were- and a cup of water.

"Liam, I told you..I'm fine."

He rubbed his temple and sighed.
"At least take a shower. I'll make you lunch," Liam said. I nodded and went into the bathroom. The clothes I was wearing were dirtier than they should've been.

"What the hell happened to me?" I asked myself, still wondering how I left that room and came here without a single memory.

I turned on my radio on my phone and the song "#icanteven" came on. It seemed like a stupid song until I listened it to the first time a few weeks ago.

I turned the water on and the dirt from my skin fell down with the water. I tried to recollect what happened again.

Maybe Liam knows.

I ran my hands through my hair and my fingers were tinted red.

Blood.

It was old though. I quickly washed my hair and got out of the shower. I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked downstairs. Liam was talking to Satomi.

"Oh Brett, come eat," she said.
Liam handed me a plate and I sat down at the table.

"I have to go get Leah, I'll be back in an hour. Brett, don't scare me like that again. We need you in this pack," Satomi said. I nodded.

"I'm sorry," I said before she shut the door.

I poked at my food, not really hungry.

"Liam, what happened to me?" I asked him. He looked surprised when I said that.

"You don't remember?" Liam asked. I shook my head.

"I found you in the woods, Brett."

How was that even possible?
"Liam, I don't remember any of it," I said.

I finished up the good he made and then got up out of the chair.

"I'm going to go get dressed. Maybe we'll do something today, alright?" I said. Liam nodded and took my plate to the sink.

A/N : another short chapter but i haven't updated recently & i should be doing my homework. my Netflix stopped working ATM and I can't watch SPN and it's making me sad.
