Liam.

I drove up to Derek's loft and his car was parked in the driveway (which was really just a path where the leaves weren't).

I got out of my car and shut the door behind me, then walked up to the door. I almost knocked, it's been a while since I've been here. Did I even belong anymore? It's been several months. Scott did say they need all the help they could get, and if Peter is welcomed to help, I guess I should be too.

I opened up the door and walked down the hallway, then opened the sliding door that creaked as it moved across the track.

Derek and Scott were hunching over a piece of paper. They both turned to face me when they heard the door.

"What'd you say to get him to come?" Derek asked Scott.

"Liam, you're here," Scott said to me, ignoring what Derek said.

I nodded and walked down the ramp.

"Scott told me you guys need my help, and we are a pack, so I came to help. Something about a Chimera, yeah?" I asked. They both nodded.

"So what exactly are they?" I asked no one specifically.

"There's these doctors. They should be easy to take down but the things the doctors makes aren't. They take teenagers and make them into creatures. They're called Chimeras. They can be anything the doctors want them to be, and they're not considered supernatural. Just science experiments," Scott said.

I blinked.

"That was a lot to take in," I mumbled. Since they're wolves they both obviously heard.

"Sorry," Scott said. I nodded.
I walked down over to them since I kept my distance at first.

"A few of the Chimeras go to Beacon Hills. Do you know a girl named Hayden?" Scott asked.

Thoughts of Hayden and all she's done to me since the sixth grade flashed into my head.

"I've heard of her," I say. Technically I wasn't lying, I just wasn't telling the entire story. It's just a small detail I'm leaving out, so it doesn't really matter, anyways.

"Do know what she looks like? If you were to see her outside of school would you know who she is?" Derek asked.

"Yeah, for sure," I said. They both nodded.

"Then are you willing to help us?" Scott asked.

"How are they killed?" I asked, ignoring the question.

"Apparently it's a silver bullet to the heart. Kinda cliche, but it's worth a shot," Derek answered.

"Tell him the other theory of them," Scott said to Derek.

"Oh, right. Uh- there's also a theory that they can't be killed at all, and the bullet to the heart is a bunch of bull crap," Derek said.

"How is that possible? Like, immortal?" I asked. Scott nodded.

"And every pack has an alpha.." Derek said.

"The leader is a senior at Beacon Hills," Scott said.

My eyes got wide.
"Who is it?" I asked.
