Chapter Twenty Eight

THIS IS ONLY PART ONE OF THE PARTY.

Liam.

Once we got to the party, Bradley answered the door. It wasn't a huge party, but there was still quite a few people.

"I knew you two would become a couple," she giggled and opened the door wide for both of us to walk through, Brett not letting go of my hand.

Brett smirked as she said that comment, and I looked up at him and smiled.

"Do you want something to drink?" He asked me.

"Anything nonalcoholic?" I asked.

Brett laughed, "probably not, knowing Bradley."

"Eh.. sure. Anything's good."

He walked towards the table of drinks and snacks and I kept my eyes on him as he walked, so I wouldn't lose him in the crowd. There was about fifty people inside and a few people outside. Once Brett came back, I took the cup from him and thanked him.

"You wanna go out there?" I asked, pointing to the sliding glass door, feeling slightly overwhelmed with the people constantly accidentally bumping into me.

"Yeah, c'mon."

I followed Brett out, having to since he was holding my hand.
There was a pool and ping pong table and about ten people out here.

"Pretty dead out here," I said. Brett nodded in agreement.

"Are they playing beer pong?" Brett asks, looking across the pool to the ping pong table.

"I think so," I replied.

"Wanna go watch?" He asked. I nodded and we walk over.

"Brett, right?" A boy asked. He didn't look familiar.

"Yeah, who are you?"

"Bradley's brother," he answered. Brett nodded.

"Ah, why don't you two play?" The boy said.

Brett looked to me and I shrugged.
"You want to?" He asked. I shrugged again.

"It'll be fun."

"Alright, fine."

The boys sets up twenty cups, one group of ten on each side of the table. Then, he filled them up.

"I gotta warn you, Liam, I'm quite the pro at this," Brett said.

"I guess we'll see, won't we?" I smirked back.
