Liam.
When I got to Brett's house, two coffees in hand, he opened the door for me and I entered his house. Satomi was sitting down on the couch in the living room. Brett took me upstairs into his room.
"Here," I said as I handed him his coffee.
He took it and mumbled a thanks."We're gonna leave here in about thirty minutes, if that's alright," I said. Brett nodded and took a sip of the drink.
We both sat comfortably on his bed and Brett turned on the TV, opening up the Netflix app.
"Movie or TV show?" he asked.
"Movie. We'll finish it after the date, alright?" I asked. Brett nodded and clicked the movie list he made for us.
"Ooh, that one," I said.
"Interstellar?" Brett asked. I nodded. He clicked the movie and it began to play the beginning.
"My mom nearly made me change plans. I told her this was important though," I said to Brett. He looked over.
"I don't want to be a problem," he said quietly.
I shook my head."Brett you're anything but a problem," I said as I began to pepper his neck with small kisses.
He let out a small laugh, but it turned out more like a small moan."Liaam," he groaned. I laughed.
"C'mon, goof. It's time to go," I said as I grabbed his arm and pulled him up off of his bed.
Brett paused the movie and we left the room, walking downstairs, coffees in hand.
"I'll be back later Satomi," Brett said. She said something from the living room but it wasn't very audible. We shut the door and got into the car.
"So where are we going," Brett asked. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not gonna spoil the surprise," I answered. He sighed loudly.
"It's not all that great, but it's good for a first date," I said.
Brett smiled.
He grabbed the hand that wasn't on steering wheel and rubbed my knuckles.
"I like that way that sounds," he said, "I like knowing that you're mine now."
I smiled too.
"Me too, Brett."We didn't say anything for a few minutes, the monotonous voice of a guy talking on the radio.
"We're almost there," I said. Brett nodded.
After a little bit, we pulled up to the haunted house I was taking him to as a date.
"Since Halloween is so close, I decided this would be a good idea," I said. Brett looked around.
"A perfect idea," he said as he kissed my knuckles.
Brett and I got out of the car and we walked up to the line.
"You better pretend you're terrified in there," Brett said.
I laughed.
"I won't be doing much acting.""I'll keep my boy save," Brett said as he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers together. I felt my cheeks heat up and Brett noticed the crimson color creep up.
"You're so perfect," he mumbled as he rested his head on my shoulder.
We got to the front of the line and I payed for our tickets.
"Follow the group," the man said. We nodded and did so.
We first got into a pitch black room. There were other people with us, also. Eerie red lights illuminated the room. Brett's face glowed, it was adorable. A creepy voice came up and a doctor appeared on the screen in front of us.
"Welcome to my lavatory, everyone. Unfortunately, we're having some sort of malfunction and all of my friends have been let loose. Follow the neon green strip on the floor and reach the exit before they get to you. Best of luck. And remember, the exits on the sides are for chickens. Oh, and you better start walking now. I think I hear them coming," the voice said, and ended with a cackle.
I looked at Brett. He tightened the grip of our hands for a few seconds, just for reassurance.
We began to walk through the house. It was pretty dark except for the line on the ground and a few small lights here and there.
Over the speakers we heard monkey-sounding notices and growling.
"Those must be the friends," Brett chuckled. I laughed nervously.
There were many pop-ups though out the house and I got about a thousand hearts attacks in all.
Once we were done with the house, we headed back to the car.
"That was a great first date babe," Brett said. I blushed at the pet name.
"For someone who didn't piss themselves every five seconds," I said, laughing.
"C'mon, we'll drive back to my house and finish the movie while I cuddle you up, keeping you warm and safe from the monkeys," Brett said.
I grinned.
A/N- alright so that chapter was probably a little bit different and that's because I read a bunch of fluffy fan fictions and now fluff is rooted into my brain and well this chapter was very fluffy I think, for my usual writing at least. I hope you guys enjoyed that. I think this book might actually start to get good.
Anyways I didn't really proof read this chapter so please excuse, ignore, or politely point out mistakes. Hope you readers liked that.
ALSO HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL, PLEASE BE SAFE, DONT MAKE STUPID MISTAKES, AND DONT DO ANYTHING YOURE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH. YOUR BODY, YOUR RULES. <3
