Brett.

"I think I'm going to go looking for jobs today," Liam says as he gets out of bed. We were, for once, at my house. Satomi was out and so was my dad.

It's a Saturday and all I want to do is sleep with Liam and keep warm under the blankets. The November air was chilly and definitely not welcoming.

"Don't leave," I groan at the loss of warmth his body gave off.

"How are we ever going to move out of our parents' houses if we don't have any money to do so?" Liam questions.

"We're only seventeen," I say. Liam laughs.

"Only?"

I roll my eyes and wrap the blanket around me, getting out of bed.

"Are you in any rush to leave?" I ask. Liam shrugs.

"I just think it'd be nice to have our own place, y'know?"

"That's what all teenagers think, until they realize it's too big of a commitment and they move back into their parent's house," I say.

"Touché. But I at least want money to take you out on dates and buy you things and-"

"I don't need any of that," I object.

"Well, this summer I'd really love to go on a vacation before senior year," Liam replies.

"With me?" I ask excitedly.

"No, with my little sister!" Liam answers sarcastically.

"HA HA, real funny."

"Hey, I haven't spent any time with her lately. Maybe we should catch up this summer," Liam jokes.

"What? Was this summer no exciting enough for you?" I ask and laugh.

Liam joins in and pushes my arm, fighting playfully.

"I had lots of fun this summer," He says.
I grin at the memories.

"Do you want me to drive you?" I ask him.
He shrugs, and says, "sure."

"Can we take a shower before?"

"Been there, done that. Not exciting. Terrifying."

"We've grown from that time. We've been together for more than a year now," I say.

"It was only a few months ago," Liam says. I shrug.

"Fine. We goin' now then?"

Liam nods and I grab my keys from the tiny bowl I keep them in.

"Off we go, then."

**

"Where to first?" I ask.

"Target!" Liam says excitedly.

"Why target?"

"What, you don't dream of becoming the new Alex?"

"Uh, nope. Do you?" I ask.

Liam laughs and turns on the radio, a song neither of us know comes on, but it has a good beat so he doesn't change it.

"Are we really going to Target?"

"Of course," Liam answers.

I turn onto the highway and head to the big, red store.

**
Liam. *A few days later*

"Alright, we'll call you when we get your schedule," the lady says cheerfully. I nod and smile shyly.

Finally! A job!

I drive home and my mom is in the kitchen, like most of the times.

"Brett's upstairs," she says.

"He is?" I ask. She nods and continues on whatever she's making. I turn around and go up the stairs, opening my bedroom door. Brett's asleep on the right side of my bed.

He doesn't seem to notice when I shut the door, for he doesn't move at all.
I walk over on the bed and curl up next to him. He hums quietly and wraps his arms around me as he go backs to sleep.

I relax, falling asleep in his arms.

A/N THIS WAS BAD IM SORRY.
