BREE:

When I first came to this place, I wanted nothing more than fro Chase to save me. I wanted him to save me from this place that I thought was a prison. But now, now that couldn't be father from the truth. I want to stay here, with Marcus, for a long time--I'm thinking forever.

For a while now, Marcus and I have been talking and talking and talking and we gotten really close. So close, that it is kinda scary. I have shared more secrets with him then with Chase and Adam and Leo all together.

"Hey," Marcus says, coming into my room. Yes, I upgraded from a cell into a room thanks to Marcus. "I brought you some food." He comes and sits next to me on my royal blue bed. He puts the tray gently on the bed in-between us. "So, here's what I got: a single rib, a scoop of mashed-potatoes, and a mix of peas and carrots."

"You aren't supposed to give me this, you know," I say. I look at him, smiling widely.

He chuckles. "Trust me, I know. If anyone finds out, well the Boss would have my chip." He motions for me to eat the food and I comply. "But I know what you're thinking. 'Why are you doing it then?'" he says, mocking my voice. I glare at him, but let him continue. That question has been on my mind for a bit, and now he's going to answer. Who am I to interrupt? "Well, honestly"--he takes a deep breath--"Bree, I-I've liked you for a while now, and, at first, I wasn't sure that it was love, but every time I talk to you...or am around you for that matter, I know for a fact that I, Marcus Greenburg, am in love with you.

"That's why I do this for you, Bree. I do this because I am so, deeply in love with you," **THAT IS A QUOTE FROM PADME, FROM STAR WARS; MY ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME** he finishes, not looking at me. "Look, you don't have to say anything, and, heck, I'll leave if you want me to, but just tell me that you don't feel the same way."

I take a deep breath, picking my next words carefully. "I-I can't say that." He looked up, meeting my brown eyes with his own, confusion written on his face. "I can't say that because...because I can't lie to you. I won't. I can't tell you that I don't feel the same when I do. I feel exactly the same."

"You-you what?"

"I love you," I say, more sure of myself.

He smiles briefly, but then a look of fried crosses his face. "Chase. What about Chase? Don't you love him?"

"Sh," I put a finger to his lips. "Chase is a thing of the past. You and I, we are a thing of the present; a thing of the future." He looks doubtful and I continue, hoping to get him to believe that I am over Chase. That Chase is, in fact, a thing of the past and him and I are going to be the future. "Why don't I prove it to you then? I could do so, if you wanted me too."

"How would you prove something like that? Something like love?" He asks me.

"Like this," I say, leaning in towards him. He closes his eyes slightly, then fully closing them, allowing my lips to connect with his. He opened his mouth slightly and asked for entrance. I accept and our tongue start to dance—kind of like a tango—battling for dominance. I feel his hands move towards my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck tightly.

Well, that's that chapter. Only a bit more till the end and I am absolutely bawling. We've been through so much through this book and it's going to be coming to a close soon. 😢😢😭😭😥 But I guess all good things have to end. So, see you guys in three days—hopefully, assuming that I actually can get an update out on time.
