As Emma lay there on the cold bed, completely nude with nothing but a sheet to cover her, she sobbed. She gave into Neal. Emma felt weak, used, worthless, dirty, anything negative, Emma felt it. All Emma wanted was somebody to comfort her. Emma climbed off the bed and wrapped the sheet around her. She picked up her stranded clothes from around the room and began dressing herself. Once finished Emma peeked out into the hallway,

"Neal?" She called.

"The hell do you want?" Neal called back.

"I just want to talk for a minute." Emma said. By now her hands were trembling and she had a pounding headache.

"Come in here." Emma followed the sound of his voice and her heart began to race.

"Neal, could we talk at a more proper place? Like the table." Emma asked. Neal stood and plopped down in one of chairs on the table.

"What?" He asked. But it came out as a demand.

"I wanted to know if.. you could possibly.. let me go? I promise on Henry's life I won't tell anybody what happened. Please, Neal. I have a life, and a job, and Henry." Neal took her words into consideration.

"Emma, you do realize I care about you? I just am the way I am because of my past. But back when we were together, I was just scared of losing you. I never should have let you go to jail for me. God, I'm such an ass." Neal said. Emma was confused and didn't know how to comfort the man.

"It's okay." Emma took Neal's hand and Neal flinched. Emma was set off guard and jerked her arm back.

"You can go." Neal said.

"Henry?!" Neal called from below. A few seconds later there was the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. A wave of relief washed over Emma.

"Go home with your mother. Take good care of her." Neal said.

"Will do." Henry said. Henry took Emma's hand and dragged her from the house. They found themselves in a cabin, in the middle of the woods.

"Shit." Emma mumbled. Henry laughed and shook his head.

"This way, mommy. Daddy showed me the way." Emma nodded. She swiftly followed Henry.

"So, what happened between you and papa?" Henry asked. He began tugging at Emma's loose shirt and jumping around.

"I'll tell you when you're older, baby." Emma said. She ruffled her sons hair as they walked.
____________
After a little bit of walking they could see the town. Emma was just almost as happy as Henry.

"So, tell me, how'd you get to your dads house?"

"After daddy drove off with you I dropped my bag and started running. Mama, I ran like Forrest Gump!" Emma's eyes widened.

"Who let you watch that movie?!" Henry giggled.

"You fell asleep watching it so I finished it for you!" added Henry.

"Good, lordy." Emma mumbled. "hey, kid, you hungry? Cause I am dying for a grilled cheese!" Emma said whilst patting her belly.

"Yes, mama." Henry said. As they approached Granny's Diner Emma grabbed the door for Henry. Henry marched inside and grabbed a booth. As Emma walked inside there was a shattering of glass. Emma looked up from the ground with huge eyes. Regina, Ashley, Mary Margaret, Ruby, and Alex were all sitting at the booth. Ashley had dropped her cup of coffee when she saw Emma. All eyes' were on Emma now.

"Emma!" Regina shrieked. Henry looked confused. The whole restaurant was silent until Henry spoke up.

"Hey, you said we came here for food! Now I want my food, mommy!" Henry ordered. Emma chuckled and ordered their food to-go.

"Ready, babe?" Emma asked Henry. He nodded and they jogged out of the diner. Leaving the booth of ladies sitting in awe.

The next day Emma went back to work. Emma was late to class by two minutes.

"Sorry, class! I was late waking up this morning and I had to take my son to school and I'm overwhelmed by everything!" Emma said out of breath.

"Ooh! Miss. Swan isn't a virgin!" Some kid with red curly hair whispered to his friend. Emma looked up furiously.

"Who said that?" She yelled. Nobody answered. "I'm putting my money on.. Derrick. Derrick, you will have lunch detention with Mrs. Fivecoats for three weeks. Understood?"

"Yes, Miss. Swan." Derrick mumbled. Emma smiled and walked back to her desk and took attendance and emailed Mrs. Fivecoats.

"Killian, I did not get your writing assignment from last Thursday, come up here." Emma said. As Killian approached her desk he blushed. He had a huge crush on Swan.

"You need to go to the nurse?" Emma said loudly. She was trying to embarrass Killian. "cause your cheeks are really red behind your ridiculous stubble."

"Um, no." Killian mumbled.

"I want your paper before the bell rings" Emma said seriously.

"Aye, mate." Ten minutes later the bell was about to ring. Killian had scribbled down a note on his paper in bright red ink. He handed it in and winked at his teacher, then left the room. Emma began to grade it, then noticed the note.

Hey, Swan. Care to go on a date with a rather, devishly handsome man? Meet me at Granny's this Saturday at 7:00pm. If you don't show, I'll leave you alone.

-Killian Jones

Emma told herself it was inappropriate, but she knew deep down inside she was going.
