TWO WEEKS LATER.
It's now sunday, and I'm going to my interview with Scott, Charlie's uncle. A lot of things have changed the past weeks. Blake and I doesn't talk to each other. I keep telling myself that it can't work. That's just how it is... Sometimes I miss him, but I change my mind. Anyway, I'm right in front of the building, so I get in. It's really spacious, and I see a woman, she seems to work here, so I ask her:
-I'm meeting Scott Brader?
I'm not sure of myself right now.
-Yes, it's on the 10th floor.
She gives me a little smile, and I get in the elevator. It's not very long. I look at my watch, it's 15h45, but he told me that it won't be long. Because I join Charlie at the room to eat dinner, and all the group, we're going at a kind of private show in New-York. I'm on the 10th floor, and there's another woman, smiling at me, so I walk to her.
-I'm here to meet Scott Brader.
-M.Brader will see you soon.
I sit on one of the chair, and I wait.
A couple of minutes later, the woman's walking to me.
-M.Brader can see you now.
I get up, and I follow her to two big wooden doors. She opens it, and I'm captivated. It's so beautiful! It's spacious, and elegant. He's standing next to his desk, looking at me. He has chestnut hair, almost blond, with blue eyes. He's cute... He makes a side smile, and he says.
-Ms. Hunt?
I walk to him, and we shake hands. I just can't stop looking at him. Charlie told me he was cute, but... Damn!
-Take a sit.
I sit on a chair, and we look at each other. I don't know what to say.
-Charlie told me you already have an internship with another company in New-York?
-Yes.
-But you're interested in my company?
Well, I don't know. Charlie told me to take an interview with you, that's it.
-Yeah...
He frowns, and he smiles. Wow. Lauren, stop.
-Are you looking for a long term job?
I smile.
-Yes. That's all I want!
-Perfect, then. I read some articles you wrote for your internship. You're good in writing.
-Thanks...
I've never been that much awkward. I know what Charlie talked with him on the phone about me, so what could I say? I could ask questions about the company, maybe. But he starts to talk.
-Since when do you know Charlie?
-It's been two years.
I smile.
-That's nice. And you're studying to become an editor, or a writer I think?
-Yes. I really like to read, and to write.
-Do you have a blog, or a book?
-Hmm... I don't have a blog, but I would want to. I write a lot, so I kind of have a book.
-And it's about what?
I don't usually talk about what I love, so I don't like to give too much details.
-I'm a girl, so it's cliché. I love romance, and love stories.
-He laughs at my answer.
-It's not cliché. That's what you love. But I think that you should do a blog. You're very good in writing. And maybe that you could let me read your book.
He smiles. I like his smile.
-It's all on wattpad...
-You write on wattpad?
-Yes. But I'll think about the blog.
-I offer to work from the dorm. In the am you do your blog. We'll talk about subjects via e-mail, but that's all I want. Good for you?
-Yes, everything's good.
I give him a smile. Verything's so perfect!
-I'll read your stories, then. Are you OK to start next Wednesday?
What? He already want me to work for him? It was that easy?
-Yes.
I give him the biggest smile.
-Then, see you next week. , he says. It's 19h45, and we're getting inside the building, where the show's going to be. There's two bodyguard at the entrance. There's a cute one... Like a really cute one. The boys are behind Charlie and I. The cute bodyguard, is tall, pretty shaped, he has brown hair, with a sexy face. He takes stamps to put on our hands, and he looks at me.
-Are you 21?
It takes a few seconds before I answer. I don't know why, but it's weird. Well, he answers for me.
-No?
-Sorry, no.
He gives me his cuty smile.
