The unexpected

Chapter 40

Blake's proud of him, and once again, I can't stop telling myself that he's perfect. I give him a kiss before I sit next to Charlie. She's holding Chase's hand.

-You didn't had a fight, right?, I ask, almost shocked.

-No.

She grins.

-Oh my god, I hate you Charlie! You broke my heart! I was so sad for you! Oh, you're so stupid!

I'm smiling, oh my god, I believed her so much. She laughs, and she gives me a hug. Blake's sitting next to me, and we're talking with everyone. It's just so... Perfect. One year ago I finally met my mother because of her big gift. And six months ago, she left me -again-, but she'll never come back this time. But the persons I really miss right now are my grandparents.

-Where are you?, Blake asks.

-Here?, I frown at his question.

-No, you weren't.

-Sorry.

I give him a quick smile, and the waiter arrives with our plates. Spaghetti for me. Mmh, my favorite meal! It's really good, and I have a fun night, everybody's talking, and laughing. Thank you baby.

The waiter's coming with the staff, and they're singing "Happy Birthday". It's a kind of awkward moment. I smile, and I look at the cake. "Happy Birthday Lauren!" is writing on it. It's time to make a wish. I close my eyes, and the first thing that comes in mind is "I don't want to be alone anymore", on this wish, I blow the candles. We all take a piece of this delicious chocolate cake, and they decide that it's time to give me their gifts. Charlie starts. It's a frame with the drawing she was doing earlier, it's her and I when we took our first selfie together. She's a really good artist. I'm really happy of this gift. I hug her. Alexa gives me a little clutch full of makeup. It's really nice of her. Nathan gives me a box, it's from him, and Alexa. I open it. It's a pair of running shoes. It's the one I saw the other day with Alexa, and I instantly fell in love with the shoes. I really like flowers. The sign of the "Nike" is blue with the sole. The shoes are black, and there's flowers printed on it. I stand up, and I'm hugging them. It's so nice! I'm really happy!  Hunter gives me a gift. It's pretty surprising from him. I thought he didn't like me... Well! It's a bag made of tissu. When I open it there are black sunglasses. They're beautiful. I say thank you to him, and -of course-, I give him a quick hug. It's Blake's turn. I'm super excited to see his gift. And just by looking in his eyes, I know that he's anxious. He starts with a little Pandora box. Just by seeing the box, I know it might cost a lot, and I'm already happy. I open it, and there's a bracelet. On it there's two hearts. On one of them it's written "I want to travel the world", and on the other one it's written "with you". He's really cute, romantic, perfect, sexy, mine. I think that I have the biggest smile ever.

-You love?, he asks.

-If I love? It's perfect Blake!

He grins, he's really beautiful.

I kiss him, and I ask him to put it on my wrist.

-Wait, I have an other gift...

He seems unsure, and really anxious. What's going on? Baby, relax. He gives me an envelopp. Everybody's looking at me excited, and Blake's looking at me anxious. Nice... I open the envelopp, there's two ticket in it. I start to read slowly, and I feel weak. My blood fell to my feet. I'm shocked.

-Are you ok?, he asks.

I look at him, tears are falling from my eyes. I can barely talk.

-I love you Blake... I love you so much...

I can't stop crying, I just can't believe it. It's unbelievable. He takes me in his arms, and I need to calm down. Wow...
 I try top stop crying, so he looks at me, and he says.

-I know that we have school Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesay but I met your teacher, and I have all the work you'll have to do during the trip.

Finally, I can talk. But when I realize the gift he just gave me, tears are falling from my eyes. He's about to realize one of my dreams.

-We're really going to England Monday?, I ask.

-Yes we are, baby.
