We will have our music festival at school. This is the season I really love. I don't sing but I love music. I tried to learn piano when I was young but it was just a total failure. I went to the mansion with Lily to hang out with Jack again.

"Hey Jack, do you like music?" Lily asked.

Jack, of course, didn't answer but just passed through the next room to get something. (Yes, he passed through the walls...creepy) When he came back, he was holding a violin. Lily stared at it. She still can't absorb the fact that were actually with a ghost.

"Jack, would you like to play a tune for us?"  I asked.

"As you wish, my lady." He said.

He started to play  the violin. It had such a sweet sound that was so soft to listen to. It was so relaxing so Lily and I stayed there the whole afternoon before going home.

THE NEXT DAY:

"Kyla! You've been chosen to be the representative of our class this year." Lily shouted.

"WHAT!?" I freaked out. How could I ever represent our class for the music fest if I can even sing or play anything?

Oh, I haven’t mentioned. In our music fest, we have a recital. Every class picks a student to perform for the event.

"Crap! What would I do?" I said.

"I could help", Jack answered. It's creepy that he's been standing right beside me everyday at class 'coz I'm the only one who sees him.

"How could you damn help me?" I whispered and slapped my palm on my forehead.

"I can play the violin for you. You just pretend. Nobody else could see me right?" He answered.

Mr. Light Bulb turned on up my head. I shouted, "That's it!"

The day of the recital arrived. I wore a white dress that Lily lent me. I brought Jack's violin. My foster parents were at the audience that made me more nervous.

My name was called and I took the stage. I held the violin and Jack was there behind me. He held my right hand as I held the bow. He guided me in every stroke. I followed where his fingers moved but he was the one pressing the strings. Our faces were very close, making me so embarrassed. Our position was so awkward. I heard nothing but the sweet sound of Jack's violin. As the song ended, an applause roared within the auditorium.

"Thanks Jack", I whispered.

"Anything for you, my lady", he said.
