I couldn't stop my tears. They were over-flowing. I didn't know exactly what to feel. I feel happy that I knew my past - that I am an heir of a high-class family. Yet, I feel sad. I feel like it’s a sin to have this feeling towards Jack. I am really falling for him but, he's…
He's my mother's lover.
Jack embraced me to comfort me. I know he knows how I feel. He softly said, "Don't cry, my dear. I'm sure your mother doesn't want you to be sad."
I was calmed down for what he said. I wiped off my tears and said, "Tell me more about her. I want to know her more." Right now, I did not want to think about my feelings towards Jack. I want to focus my thoughts about my true identity.
Jack smiled and held my hands. He guided me towards the huge book shelf and gave me an old notebook.
"It's Lady Katherine's diary. I found it here long ago. I think would tell you all you want to know." He said.
I left the mansion with my mother's diary in my arms. My past was now getting clear to me. As I arrived home, I immediately went into my room and started reading. My mom called me for supper but I said I wasn't hungry.
And there...
All night...
In my room...
I met my real mother.
