Sungjae's POV:

You only love once...

Those are the words my best friend, Jung Mi Ra wrote while we were talking quietly about her new relationship in class.

I frowned and wrote,

You only live once!!! YOLOOOO

Then I smiled.

She chuckled and shook her head as she draws circles beside her head, saying that I'm crazy.

It was another boring class in high school. Is it because I sleep late that I'm sleepy in every class?

I fell in a deep nap, thanks to my friends who make it possible for my nap time to happen.

I woke up by everyone's noise. I opened my eyes slowly and see a kind of ruckus happening among the class. What is happening?

"No, no, I won't partner with her!"

"No way!"

"Then let's choose whoever we want..."

"CLASS!!!"

Everyone kept quiet.

"LISTEN... I will be the one to decide who's going to be your partners, is that clear?" Our homeroom teacher said.

I poked Mira's shoulder. "What's happening?" I whispered.

She sat back and whispered, "There's a partner project for drama class."

I pouted and shook my head before putting my head down to sleep again as I hear the teacher call names.

"Jung Mi Ra with Im Hyunsik..."

I frowned. How's that possible?
Hyunsik is her new boyfriend.

I lift my head up and saw her all smiles and excited.

"YOOK SUNGJAE..." The teacher called.

"What?" I asked lazily.

She glared at me. "Who else don't have a partner?" she asked.

Everyone went quiet and nobody lifted a hand, except for the last person that I would ever want to work with- Kim Sohyun.

I heard chuckles from some students. I frowned. "No way." I said.

"Yes way! Yook Sungjae with Kim Sohyun. Do you all have partners now?"

"Yes."

I sighed and rubbed the back of my neck as I look at Sohyun. How do I deal with that girl?

"Yah, be thankful. She's great." Mira whispered.

"Are you kidding me?" I mouthed.

She just smirked and shook her head.

"I'm giving you two months to prepare for your short play. I guess that time is enough, right? Now, I'm giving you 'til the end of this hour to get to know your partners well. Knowledge about each other is what builds a great teamwork." The teacher said.
