Chapter 12

Sungjae's POV

I was still smiling from ear to ear after my first date with Sohyun. I even giggle from time to time and stop whenever I catch myself. I was about to open the door to the dorms when my phone rang. I answered excitedly without even looking at who was calling, thinking of Sohyun.

"Sohyunie, why did you-"

"Son, it's me."

I stopped when I heard my father's voice. "Oh, yeah?"

"How about dropping by home this weekend?" He said.

I snorted. "Woah, why? Do you need something?"

I heard him chuckle. "Sometimes I wonder how you took so much of your mother even in way of speaking. Actually, I need to talk to you about some things. I'll be here for lunch on Sunday, so make sure you drop by." He said and hang up.

How could he decided on it without even hearing my answer? I frowned and went inside the dorm. What does he need from me this time?

I sighed. I shouldn't let this day be ruined by such thing. I took my phone and sent a good night message to Sohyun.

Sleep well, Kim Sohyun. Dream of me. You better do. <3

Morning came quick. I didn't get to sleep early last night because Changsub and Peniel kept asking me what happened during the date. I was happy and we talked a lot about me and Sohyun until we realized it was late. You know, guys do this kind of thing too.

I quickly took my phone and dialed Sohyun's number. I closed my eyes again after that but it took a while for her to respond.

"Yes, good morning." She greeted.

I smiled. "Good morning. Were you already awake?" I asked.

"Yes, I woke up earlier."

I opened my eyes and got up. "What's wrong with your voice? Is there something wrong?" I asked.

"No, it's just my morning voice. By the way, we're going to talk about our upcoming play today so see ya at school!"

"But are you really-"

And she hangs up the phone.
But I don't really know why I don't feel good about it. I went to the bathroom and got ready for school.

I was the first one to arrive in the classroom, some students followed, then Changsub and Peniel. Where is Sohyun?

"Yah, Sungjae-ah, why do you always come so early these days?" Changsub asked in his sleepy voice.

"He's being a nice student lately." Mira said.

I ignored them and sent a message to Sohyun.

Where are you?

She replied after a few seconds and I almost jumped. I'll be a little late.

WHY? I'M WORRIED.

Yah, I just can't find the scripts I wrote. I'll hurry once I found them, okay? :)

Alright...

I sighed and the teacher came in after a few minutes.

Sohyun came panting exactly during the roll call. "I'm sorry for being late!" She said.
