Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess she loved all the people of the land but her true dream was to live among fairies. She search up and down and all around until one day she found one. From that day on she promised of always look for fairies. She would call herself the scouter and she lived happily ever after, the end...now if that the kind of book you're looking for then I suggest you close this book and turn back now because this book is no fairy tale. Let's start from the beginning.
In all directions the field stretches out as far as the eyes can see. Surrounding me are crystal clear streams filled with a plethora of plump golden fish, and tall, lush trees dancing in the wind. The smell of daffodils fills the air with a heavenly aroma. The cool breeze loops its way through my curly brown hair as I spread my arms out wide. High up in the sky the sun shines bright and its warm rays envelope me like a blanket. All of it, every time, is so beautiful. I never wanted it to end.
Then it went dark and I found myself in the same place as always. Sometimes I wished that I would never wake up and remain in my dream world forever. Instead I have to wake up every day to my cramped little room and the smoky smell of Reza.
It's been two year since then, since we got pushed out of Saldom by Dezmer and his troops. It all happened so quickly. One I was a happy fourteen year old living with my parents, and the next thing I knew I was an orphan left with the debt of my dead parents.
It all started almost twenty-five years ago when Saldom's most prized possession the Jewel of Kalederon, was stolen. There were no clues to who did it. All that is known was that there were two fenders watching it named Rezan and Stael and the night the jewel disappeared so did the those fenders.
This caused the division of the people of Saldom; Those who thought that Rezan was the thief and traitor, and those who thought it was Stael.
Our Terra was at the verge of chaos when a man named Zuman took the stance as our leader. He was a benevolent man and all the people of Saldom adored him. He put an end to the chaos and though the two rivaling ideas remained, the people lived fairly peacefully.
We were finally sailing on smooth waters, that is until Zuman fell ill and not soon after died and with him so did the peace. Everything went downhill from there, school was canceled, people fought in the streets, and rumors began to spread. People whispered that Zuman's illness was just a cover and that he was actually murdered, others talked of a new leader being chosen. To me the hushed voices didn't matter because the facts were already known, Zuman was dead and I wasn't going to school. Strangely that may have been what bothered me most, the fact that I couldn't attend school. For some reason I always loved walking into the small brown building I called school, with its old used book smell, bustling halls, and wonderful teachers that taught me everything I needed to know. I just couldn't get enough of it which made didn't make me any closer to being normal. After all I was always that girl, the fourteen year old that could take down a grown man in exactly seven point four seconds (actually proven). But don't worry I only practice on my dad.
Meanwhile in Kavus, Zuman's brother, Dezmer, leader of the neighboring Terra, rather than seeing his only brother's death as a tragedy, he saw it as an opportunity to take over our small Terra. With his troops that were three times bigger than ours he set out to take over our Terra. We fought hard but in the end we lost. Many lives were lost in the battle, including my parents.
Before their death they were slowly but steadily paying off their unreasonable debt to a group known as Nova. They dreamed of opening a clinic to help those in need but the money and their aspirations didn't equal out so they need a little money help. Little did they know that by getting the loan in the first place they were getting swindled into paying back four times what they borrowed, leaving them with a debt of 200,000 dalz. After paying back about 70,000 dalz, their lives came to an untimely end and the rest was passed to me. And of course I didn't have a single dalz to my name.
To make matters worse, at the same time the ruthless Dezmer, in the act of being malicious, chased out all of the residents of Saldom. With no other option we depart from our homeland and began to search for somewhere new to call home. It didn't help at all that in the havoc of The Eviction we were forced to leave behind most of the technology we had developed and all the Travs since everyone knew that Travs would only work with the bounds of its Terra so in the case of going from Terra to somewhere else, walking was the only way or in our case fleeing.
The plan was to stick together but without Zuman to lead us the people divided. Like my parents I remained neutral to it all and held the belief that neither of the men stole it because they didn't have a motive. Zuman was kind to everyone but especially to his noblemen. He provided all that was needed for the men and their families. So would why they do something to betray the man that treated them so well? It's simple they wouldn't; therefore it must all be one big misunderstanding.
With no favor to either side I ended up with the Rezan believers out of pure luck of the draw. We went one way and those who believed in Stael went the other way.
The journey was rough and many got left behind. I would have been one of the left behind if I wasn't able to entertain myself with subjects I had learned in school. I was mostly kept preoccupied with the history of how we came to be. A long time ago there were a lot of people and animals on earth. Back then technology was everywhere, there were weird shaped machine things that poured out black smoke, the teacher said that they were called cars. There were also places that people could go when they were sick and those places had technology everywhere, my mom told me they were called hospitals.
Anyways everything was fine back then but then one day everything stopped working, all the electrical stuff just turned off, no one knew why and no one knew how to reverse it. We called it The Shut Down. Everyone went crazy after that because they didn't know how to survive without it. It stayed like that for about a hundred or so then one day it started up again. By then almost seventy-five percent of the world's population had died out. The ones that were left were too scared to just start using technology again after all that happened so they restarted civilization and called it The Reboot. They lived peacefully without much technology for a while but slowly advanced on what electrical machinery they already had as well as invented a few. They made sure to never get too reliant on them though just in case another shut down happened. Things continued like that for hundreds and hundreds of years then the thriving areas were divided to become Terras.
We finally found an unclaimed Terra and in dedication to Rezan named it Reza. Not long after we found out that the Stael-believers found Terra not too far from us and went by the name Staellum.
Now in Reza we were trying to work what we had, inventing and creating new things. We had to start all over again but we were doing well. Especially me though because I thought that I had finally rid myself of the despicable group called Nova. I could finally start over, have a fresh slate; but they found me. Lucky for me my dad taught me a few combat moves leaving me with more skill than most. With a jabs to the ribs and kicks to the faces I could get away from the one or two of them with minimal bruises.
To think that this was the life that I was living now. The thought of all this made me shiver so I decided drift back into the arms of Morpheus, and into my dream land. There I didn't owe 130,000 dalz, my parents were still alive, and everything was always beautiful, always......happy.
Hope you like it, tell me whats goo whats not always looking to improve
