It had been 3 hours, and Jessania was still busy on Bianda. Rodriguez was pale; he hadn't eaten since Bianda had gone into surgery.
Her breathing on the IV was stable and Jessania had stitched her heart back together. All she needed to do now was securely link the blood vessel to her heart. Rodriguez sat on the stairs, his head in his hands. Sara sat in front of the TV. Mia sat across from Bianda. Chris had his elbows on the back of the couch, looking down at Bianda. They were clearly close.
The atmosphere was a dead one. It was true, Bianda had made easy friends with everyone and everyone had known how close Maurishio and Bianda were. Now it would maybe cost her her life because of it.
Neither Maurishio nor Suhaileo had come to the house. Jessania continued to work over Bianda's heart.
The IV went irratic. Bianda's heart stopped and her breathing was slowing rapidly. Rodriguez's eyes widened and his face went even more pale.
Bianda's breathing stopped completely and her heart rate was hadn't started beating yet.
"Do something!" Sara shouted at Jessania, tears pouring out of her eyes. Jessania remained calm through everything like a proffesional.
She sponged up all the excess blood on Bianda's now torn blood vessel. She worked quickly and swiftly and sutured Bianda's blood vessel.
The IV returned back to normal and Bianda's heart had restarted and her breathing slowly started again. Everyone sighed a breath of relief. Rodriguez's colour returned to his face and Sara's tears had dried up. Mia then realized something; the different phases of the moon speeded up the healing process. Maybe that would help Bianda.
Mia walked outside. It was dark already. Mia looked at the moon.
New moon.
It wasn't as good as a full moon because the power was slightly reduced. It was better than a crescent though.
Mia walked back inside and was shocked at what she saw.
