A/N I realized I didn't put Jordyn's outfit in the last chapter, but it's there now if you wanted to see it. Also, since it's my birthday next week I decided to make a chapter for Jordyn's birthday. I should be up by Monday (my birthday :))

"We've tried everything. The creature has shielded itself, but there's definite signs of life inside." Van Statten informed us.

"Inside?" I repeated.

"Inside what?" The Doctor asked.

"Welcome back, sir. I've had to take the power down. The Metaltron is resting." A man greeted Van Statten.

"Metaltron?"

"Thought of it myself. Good, isn't it? Although I'd much rather prefer find out it's real name."

"Here, you'd better put these on." He handed the Doctor a pair of gauntlets. "The last guy that touched it burst into flames."

"I won't touch it then." The Doctor told him, handing back the gauntlets.

"Go ahead, Doctor." Van Statten stood back with his arms crossed. "Impress me."

The Doctor glanced at me one last time before stepping through the heavy metal doors.

"Don't open that door until we get a result." Van Statten ordered.

"What the hell did you just say?" I glared at Van Statten.

"None of your concern, sweetheart."

I flipped him off and walked over to the monitors to watch the Doctor.

"Look, I'm sorry about this. Mister Van Statten might think he's clever, but never mind him. I've come to help. I'm the Doctor."

A white light next to a blue glow began to blink, as though something was coming to life.

"Doc Tor?"

"Impossible." He whispered, his eyes going wide.

"What is it?" I whispered at the screen.

"The Doctor?" The lights came up and revealed a bad tempered pepperpot. "Exterminate! Exterminate!" It cried.

The Doctor automatically darted to the door and began to hammer on it in terror.

"Let me out!"

"Get him out of there!" I shouted, running to the door. Instead, one of the guards grabbed my arm, pulling me back towards him, and covered my mouth with his hand. I tried to fight back, hearing something snap and a curse word, but I couldn't get away. With his other hand, he grabbed my arms to keep me from moving.

"Exterminate!"

"Sir, it's going to kill him." Goddard told Van Statten. I nodded, agreeing with her.

"It's talking!" He exclaimed. I rolled my eyes, he was going to get the Doctor killed, and I knew it.

I struggled against the guard fighting, in vain, to get to the Doctor.

"You are an enemy of the Daleks! You must be destroyed!" Its gun arm twitched, but nothing happened.

"It's not working." The Doctor laughed humorlessly, while the dalek just stared at its impotent weapon. Meanwhile, I attempted to escape the guard's iron grip, with no success.

"Fantastic! Oh, fantastic! Powerless! Look at you. The great space dustbin. How does it feel?" The Doctor stared into the daleks emotionless face.

"Keep back!" The dalek ordered.

The Doctor didn't listen, standing inches away, staring into its eyepiece.

"What for? What're you going to do to me? If you can't kill, then what are you good for, Dalek? What's the point of you? You're nothing." The Doctor spat. "What the hell are you here for?"

"I am waiting for orders."

At this point, I gave up. I was just wasting energy by now, trying to fight the guard. I just stood there. Helpless.

"What does that mean?"

"I am a soldier. I was bred to receive orders."

"Well, you're never going to get any. Not ever."

"I demand orders!"

"They're never going to come! Your race is dead! You all burnt, all of you. Ten million ships on fire. The entire Dalek race wiped out in one second."

"You lie!"

"I watched it happen. I made it happen."

"You destroyed us?"

"I had no choice."

"And what of the Time Lords?"

"Dead. They burnt with you. The end of the last great Time War. Everyone lost."

"And the coward survived."

"Oh, and I caught your little signal. Help me. Poor little thing. But there's no one else coming 'cause there's no one else left."

"I am alone in the universe."

"Yep."

"So are you. We are the same."

"We are not the same! I'm not- no, wait. Maybe we are. You're right. Yeah, okay. You've got a point. 'Cause I know what to do. I know what should happen. I know what you deserve. Exterminate." He pulled a lever on a nearby console, electrifying the dalek.

"Have pity!" The dalek cried.

"Why should I? You never did."

"Get him out of there." Van Statten ordered. Then he turned to the guard holding me. "Tie her to a chair, then go with the others."

The guard nodded and picked me up. I started screaming and kicking, trying anything, but nothing worked. I still ended up tied to a chair with my mouth taped shut.

I glanced around the room looking for anything that could help me escape, but there was nothing. It was just buttons, levers, and monitors.

Luckily, the Doctor walked in. His eyes went wide at the sight of me. "Let her go."

"Why should I? She broke my best guard's arm!"

He smiled at me, knowing I would do something like that. I shrugged, indicating it was no big deal.

"I don't care. If you want any information about that dalek you're going to let her go."

"What information could you possibly give me that our scanners wouldn't be able to detect once we crack open that thing's shell?"

"I could tell you about the Time War, and the rest of its race."

"The Time War... You were in the war I presume?"

"Yes."

"Well, that means we don't have only one alien. We have you Doctor."

"And another!" A guard anounced, staring at a monitor.

"Really? Who? Where are they?"

"In the building, sir."

"Where in the building? Where?"

The guard looked up and turned to me, he tore the tape off of my mouth and turned back to Van Statten.

"It's her, sir."

"Her?!" He exclaimed.

"Her?!" The Doctor stood wide eyed, staring at me.

"Me?!"
