"Go on then, kill me. Why are you doing this?" I pleaded.

"I am armed. I will kill. It is my purpose."

"They're all dead because of you."

"They are all dead because of us."

"And now what? What're you waiting for? Just end it already."

"I feel your fear."

"What did you expect?"

"Daleks do not fear. Must not fear."

It started shooting at the bulkhead door. Desperately trying to get out.

"You gave me life. What else have you given me? I am contaminated."

The Dalek pushed me to face the camera.

"Open the bulkhead or Jordyn Avery dies." The Dalek ordered.

"You're alive!" The Doctor cried.

"Can't get rid of me." I smirked.

"Open the bulkhead!"

"Don't do it! Doctor, if it was going to kill me, I would be dead already. Don't open the bulkhead."

"What are emotions if you will not save the woman you love."

"I killed you once. I can't risk doing it again."

"No!"

The bulkhead opened. The Dalek pushed me through. It pushed me all the way to the lift. I pushed the button for Van Statten's office.

"I'm begging you, don't kill them. You didn't kill me."

"But why not? Why are you alive? My function is to kill. What am I? What am I?"

The doors opened, and standing outside were Van Statten, Rose, and Goddard.

"Don't move. Don't do anything. It's beginning to question itself." The Dalek set its sights on Van Statten, closing in on him.

Rose ran up to me and gave me a hug. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, shh."

"Van Statten. You tortured me. Why?"

"I wanted to help you. I just, I don't know. I was trying to help. I thought if we could get through to you, if we could mend you. I wanted you better. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry! I swear, I just wanted you to talk!" Van Statten was soon backed up against the wall.

"Then hear me talk now. Exterminate! Exterminate! Exterminate!"

I ran up to the Dalek and stood in between in and Van Statten.

"Don't! Don't do it! Don't kill him! You don't have to do this anymore. There must be something else, not just killing. What else is there? What do you want?"

The Dalek was silent for a moment before it responded. "Freedom."

"I can help you." I turned to Van Statten. "Where is the exit?"

"Level one. A floor above this one. Opposite end of the hallway." He told me, out of breath.

I nodded. "Come with me." I told the Dalek.

The Dalek followed me out of the room and up the stairs. We walked to the end of the hallway, and the Dalek stopped. It blasted a hole in the roof and a shaft of sunlight streamed through, straight onto its eyepiece.

"You're out. You made it." I sighed. "I never thought I'd feel the sunlight on my face again."

"How does it feel?"
