Trey turned off the engine of his 2012 Challenger and opened the door, stepping out. Placing his phone in his pocket and locking the door, he swiftly walked toward the employee entrance to the hospital. It was his first official day, so he showed up about a half an hour early.

His walk commanded attention, both men and women looked his way as he strolled in dressed in his black Ralph Lauren suit, minus the jacket. It may not have looked like it considering his walk and look of confidence on his face, but he was nervous. As hell.

"Excuse me, it's my first day and I was told to report to a Dr. Gray's office?" He asked the woman as he stopped at the front desk. He gave her that award winning small smirk of reassurance making her lips quivered and eyes grow in amazement.

What a specimen.

"Yes, Mr..."

"Dr. Neverson." He corrected and finished her statement, extending his hand.

She took it and politely shook it, smiling and blushing all at once.

"Right this way."

Break couldn't have came sooner. His first day had even been a bit hectic. This was definitely going to take some getting use to. But he was living his dream.

While most employees found themselves in the cafe for their hour lunch break, he just wanted done solitude. He wandered off towards the employee parking garage where he had saw some tucked off benches in the corner.

"Love the way you French Inhale..."

He heard the music playing softly as he walked closer to the corner. There sat a woman, brown hair blowing in the wind as she blasted her music in her headphones. He watched as she put the joint up to her lips and inhaled deeply with her eyes closed, then let go with one breath, very little smoke escaping. She tilted her head up and opened her eyes, possibly sensing his presence. It was her, with the blue-green eyes.

"Think you should be smoking that out here?" He took a seat next to her, smelling the strong scent if her herbal choice.

Her eyes got big, as if she was asking him to repeat himself. She slowly removed her earbuds.

"I said do you think you should be smoking that out here?" He repeated looking off toward the parked cars. This area seemed pretty secluded. He didn't care at all what she was doing. He just wanted to make conversation.

"It's a free country." She sat back facing him from a side view and put her Nike clad feet on the bench, pulling her knees to her chest.

"Don't worry Mr. Officer, I'm a licensed user." She concluded with a chuckle, then took another inhale.

He laughed with her.

"Just call me Trey." He said, giving her a small smile. "You are?"

"Call me Bre. You new around here?" She asked as she turned her music down and placed one earbud in her ear.

"Is it that obvious?"

She laughed. Her laugh was absolutely adorable. Angelic even...

"Nah... I've just been here for a few years. I know just about everyone here. Especially in the oncology wing. I just knew you were an unfamiliar face."

He smiled. She had seen him at work, meaning she had been noticing him throughout the day. Not that it mattered...

"Well it's nice to meet you." He said in reply.

She gave him a simple nod before placing her other earbud into her ear, inhaling the last bit and tossing the tail of her joint.

She rose to her feet and looked at the Michael Kors watch on her left wrist. His eyes watched her every move. She stuffed her hands into her cargo short pockets and blew out the smoke she had inhaled a short while ago.

"See you around." She said as she walked back into the building, leaving him sitting there.

It was just something about her.
