Blake's POV
I look at Sophia; she was smiling at Candice and Chase who we keep on teasing. But there's something in her eyes 'longing?' I sigh and nudge her softly in my shoulder. She looks at me and raised her eyebrows.
"Are you okay?" her eyes widen but quickly composed and nodded.
"Yeah, why would I not be?" she replied looking back at them."I was waiting for them to get together and here they are. I'm so happy for them!" she finished. I wanted to say, how about us? But stop myself.
I smiled at her and nodded; "We all feel the same!" she looks at me and smiled.
"You know, you owe me a date!" I said smirking at her. She looks at me confused, after a minute of thinking she said,
"Oh!"
"You forgot about it?" I ask and she smiled,
"No, it was a happy day for me" she said sadness laced in her voice.
I faced her, "Sophia, look at me" she looks at me and I said, "I know, and I'm sorry for what happen after our vacation. She kissed me, I was shock at that time and I push her away" she stops me from explaining.
"I know!" she said softly. "But it's not just the kiss Blake, when she arrive you ignored me for weeks. I was hurt so I distanced myself to you, to the both of you. Maybe it was for the best and maybe it just not meant to be" she said the four words a whisper but heard it correctly. After that she stood up and excused herself. Fuck!
After a minute, I stood up and look for her. And I found her in the pool's lounge chair with Nicole. I walk to them, her back was facing me and I sent a telepathic message to Nicole to leave us alone. She understands and stood up leaving us alone.
I sat next to Sophia, "So that's it! You'll run away from me again without explanation?" I said. She looks at me and glared.
"Run away? So you thought I planned that thing of leaving all of you? Well, news flash Blake, It's not all about you!" she whispered yell. Ow! That hurts!
"So why did you leave us like were nothing to you, huh?" I ask angrily
"Family and I was thankful of it, at least for a month I was away from this problems and away from you!" she said angrily.
"So, that's it?! If we encounter a fight like this you'll leave again without a word!"
She let out an evil laugh, and said "Wow! You're impossible! Didn't you ever think that it was you; that it was your fault from the beginning, for being selfish? Did you ever think what I felt when you and Isabelle where together talking and laughing while I sat in your side, listening and ignoring me like I'm an invisible, huh Blake? Did you ever think how you broke me and crushed the small hope that someday you'll like me or even loved me?" she shakes her head and continues,
"No, you didn't! That's what I thought. So I didn't felt guilty for you, I felt guilty for leaving my friends without a word because they were there when I need them the most." she stood up and walks out living me so down and hurt. I look at her retreating back, she suddenly stops and said,
"Do me a favor and let me do my own things! Let's move on. It's not just for me Blake but for us, for our friends they've been affected by this mistake" and then she was gone.
I sat alone and clenched my fist and punched the table making it cracked. I stood up and leave her house.
