Twenty Five: Hayley is sarcastic af

Mikey thought he was seeing things when his brother went up to greet the person at the hospital door, Pete.

It was the thing he'd least expected to happen in hospital, death was more plausible then this but there he was.

"Hey Mikes." Pete said as he walked through the door, nodding and smiling at the woman he assumed to be their mother. Pete had met Gee through their cousin when their family went to visit family in New Jersey, he hadn't met Mikey there because he was at summer camp or something but he and Gee had kept in touch ever since.

"Pete? Why the hell are you here?" Mikey was pleasantly surprised, maybe hospital wasn't so bad.

"Why the fuck do you think I'm here?" Pete grinned back until a nurse came in the room tapping her nose at Pete.

"Language." She spoke in a soft yet sarcastic voice, smiling a little.

"Sorry ma'am." Pete was sarcastic back, making Mikey smile even more and Gee chuckle.

The nurse turned to Mikey. "I'm Nurse Williams and the doctor sent me to tell you gat you're okay to go soon."
