Killian stood still at the west side of the dock. Some feet away from him were Neal, two of his men and Henry.
Neal knelt next to the boy and whispered in his ear "I hope this isn't a goodbye, kid"

He didn't reply. He just looked at the ground holding back his tears.

"Go" Neal demanded.

Henry began to walk. Killian did the same as he remembered Mary Margaret's words: "Hope is powerful"

After some seconds, Henry and Killian met halfway. The kid couldn't help but embrace Killian, making him stop.

"It's okay, Henry. You're safe now" he said, caressing his head.

"I'm scared of Neal. He's crazy"

"I know, I know. Hey, look at me"

Henry lifted up his head, tears falling from his eyes "Your grandparents are waiting for you two blocks away from here, you're gonna be alright. Once you turn left on the corner run as fast as you can. Don't stop"

"What about my mom and you? I don't want him to hurt you"

"He won't. I won't let that happen, okay?"

Henry nodded and hugged Killian one more time. "Just come back home"

"I will. Don't worry. Soon we'll be playing video games and eating chocolate ice cream together, alright? I need you to be strong, lad. Now go"

Henry let go of him before walking away. Killian gazed at the boy until he turned left and disappeared behind the building. He heaved a relieved sigh. He knew Henry was safe now.

Emma's body was shaking. At first she thought it was because of the coldness of the place, but then realized it was due to the anxiety she felt. It had been a while since Neal left with her son and there was no news about them nor Killian.

Why are they taking so long to get back? What if... No. No. They are both okay. They're fine.

She tried to calm down. She inhaled and exhaled several times, thinking about the baby she was carrying.

How much I'd love to be at my place now. Next to the fire, with my parents playing with Henry in the living room as Killian and I sit on the couch and watch them with smiles drawn across our faces...

She grinned. That was for sure something she wanted to live with her loved ones. She wanted to get the hell our of there, hug her parents, play with Henry, kiss Killian... And give birth to their little child.

But it all seemed to be like a far away dream, an illusion she was holding to.

The heavy metal door was opened, Emma turned her head towards it and saw Neal standing there with a creepy smile on his face.

"Our son is now with your parents, there's nothing to worry about"

"My son"

"Yeah, whatever" he replied not really caring about her comment "Have I already told you where I met my colleagues?"

"No, and I don't really care"

"I met them at jail. We made some deals and I made them work for me. They're indebted to me"

"Have you ever thought that they can, you know... Betray you?"

"They wouldn't do that. I helped them escape from prison and saved their necks plenty of times. They owe me this"

"They were in prison for a reason. Just as you, they aren't trustworthy"

"Say whatever you want. I know they are"
