Some days later

Killian's POV
I grabbed Emma's hand as I guided her to the beautifully decorated dance floor. We took our positions and moved our bodies to the beat of the slow romantic music that was being played at Brianna and Mathew's wedding celebration.

It was a lovely party. There were plenty of guests, good music, and one of the best wedding cakes I've ever tasted. I gave a quick look at the newly weds. They were so happy now that they were officially united. They deserved it. Brianna and Mathew did make a good couple.

But of course not as good as Emma Swan and I did.

As I danced with Emma I admired her for the millionth time like an idiot.
She was wearing a sexy blue sleeveless dress cut down by the leg, long silver earrings, her hair made up in a high bun and the most beautiful smile hovering across her face. Bloody hell. How to describe her? Dazzling. Marvelous. Ravishing. Astonishing. Fabulous. Swan was just perfect.
And she was my girlfriend. I was the luckiest guy on Earth for being with her. I loved her so much. Even more than my own life.

"Swan, you're torturing me"

"Why?" She asked.

"Seeing you in that hot dress makes me want to do a lot of things to you" I whispered.

"Killian!" Emma laughed before blushing "We're in public. Besides, there are kids around"

"Nobody's listening. The music's loud and no one is paying attention to us. Speaking of kids, it was a shame that Henry couldn't join us today. He missed a quite delicious banquet. Still, I bet he's having tons of fun at the camp"

"Yeah, he looked so excited before leaving. How could he not? It was his very first camp" Emma made a long pause before speaking again "I feel terrible for not letting him go to past camps, you know?"

"Don't say that, love. You did it because you were afraid Neal could show up and hurt him. What you did was only to protect your boy and it was the correct thing"

"You think so?"

"I do"

She smiled, caressing one of my shoulders as she spoke.

"But now we know he's not seeing the light of day again. We can continue with our lives without worrying about him, can't we?"

"Aye. No more worries"

"Besides, Robin and Regina went too, so at least there are people keeping an eye on Henry. And it was just a four day trip that ends tomorrow"

"You really miss him, don't you?"

"A damn lot. I had never been away from him for so long. It's new to me..."

"Don't worry, Swan. You'll see him soon. At what time is his bus arriving?"

"I think at five PM, why?"

"Maybe I could go too. You know... We could both pick him up and then have dinner at my place, if you want of course"

"Oh, Killian. That's a great idea!"

"You think so?"

"Yes!"

She kissed me on the lips as a smile drew across my face.

Some minutes later, we said goodbye to Brianna and Mathew, who were getting ready to take a plane to The Bahamas where they were going to spend their honeymoon. We drove to Emma's apartment soon after the couple left.

We were in her bedroom. She began to undo her bun as I took off my suit and tie. After a long moment of silence, Emma and I made eye contact. And it was intense.
